1665911 I already know about all that. Also, don't forget to put the thermal paste between your socket and the Ventirad. NOT TOO MUCH.

I should have it all worked out by time I get the parts I need and I have a copy of the os plus a back up on my spare hard drive. However I will hate having to replug and put the cpu back on right, and is more sweaty then putting a cpu in, AMD does not make it fun.

As for you and your power needs, http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139026&cm_re=cx430-_-17-139-026-_-Product It is one of the best power units I have used and I used it in my old set up for 4 or 5 years.

1665862 Oh? I need to buy a new graphics card, power supply, and VGA/HDMI adapter for an upgrade. It'll cost me around 350 (depending on the card model I get. I'm planning to a recent GTX900 series so I only have to buy a 400w supply upgrade), but since I can't find a student job, I can't buy them!

Also, you'll have to make an image of your current OS so that you don't need to buy another copy (if you don't have one). Why? Replacing the motherboard means you need to reinstall the operating system.

Also, I'm okay with slow starts if I know what's going to happen next. However, since, in this case, I don't, then it bores me.

1665701 Can't fault that, a lot of my friends are the same way; the rat bastards. I guess I'm just more use to things with a slow start or at least more accepting of them. Off note, my computer is slowly dying on me, I need to replace the RAM and motherboard soon. maybe even a new power block. yaaay for almost $500 is parts. I'm make sure to also but my wallet a mortician. Shortly followed by myself.

1665555 Well, I'm not overly fond of things that already start off boring like that without any indication of what is to come.
