Journal entry part 16 Dark times in Canterlot Castle.(5/12)

While back at team T.R.A.PP.E.D. in Canterlot...

Twilight view;
"We had Haunt and I did nothing but question him. Now what do we do? Asking princess Celestia is pointless, princess Luna trying her best to raise the sun and moon, Discord is being Discord, and my friendship is a lie. All that progress of friendship reports pointless! I can't take anymore surprises." I said as my foalsitter was behind me.

"How are you, Twilight? Want to talk about it?" Cadance asked as I just weep in her hooves.

"I *sniffle* don't *sniffle* know *sniffle* what *sniffle* to *sniffle* do!" I said still cryings my eye until I can't cry anymore.

"You used to be the best foal to sit, and now look at you all grown up, a princess, a castle, and friends who will be there when they are needed." Cadance said.

"But my friends were bought what friends are they?" I accused each one starting with Rarity.

"Rarity, you are the first pony on the spotlight. You were the most generous pony I knew. What were your reasons to be my friend?" I asked.

"Well, before I meet you, a letter came with a note saying that an unicorn and a dragon must be your friends. With the bits it was easy to overlook your friendship. I can't denied that bits were the means to keep up with our friendship, but that doesn't mean that our friendship wasn't real." Rarity said.

"Applejack, you are the next pony on the spotlight. You were the most honest pony I knew. What made you chose me for a friend?" I asked.

"I got nothing sugar-cube. I mean my family was poor the bits help pulled through the hard times, but I can say now with honesty no matter what ever happens I'll stand right next to you till the end sugar-cube." Applejack said.

"Pinkie Pie, your next. What made you my friend, the bits or your laughter?" I asked.

"Laughter silly, bits is nothing compared our friendship!" Pinkie said.

"Fluttershy. Would you kindly, like to explain to me what made me friends with you?" I asked in nicely manner.

"Well, bits helped with the food for the animals, but I think our friendship was never bought." Fluttershy said calmly.

"Dash, you are last. Where does your loyalty lay, my friendship or princess Celestia bits?" I asked.

"My loyalty use to lay for the bits, but now they lay with you, egghead." Dash said.

"That doesn't explain what would of happened if you were not bribed. Would you be still my friends as I knew, or be faux friendship of what I know now?" I asked in frustration.

"I could show you what would of happened if your friends were not bribed." Discord said.

"Show it to us all." I said not caring what has happened and cared what would happened.

"Prepare for a showstopper." Discord said as he used his chaotic magic to make pictures move on a wall. It was exactly like my first day again word for word down to the very last detail.

"So it wasn't the bribe, the bits or Celestia, you are the same friends that I knew before and know now. Thank you Discord." I said hugging my friends.

"Are you ready to practice with a Haunt-like dummy. The question will be to stall or to stop him. Applejack, it's your turn to choose." Discord said.
