I guess Discord have a weak spot for shy pegasi overall.
The only note i want to add is that Derpy already seen him when fighting against Tirek in S4 finale so she probably would have know his name or that he betrayed them already. Or maybe not, since she could just fly with the crowd with no knowledge whats going on?

Knowing Derpy, I think it's likely in the season four finale she just went along with the celebrations at the end without really understanding what was going on. Alternatively, she was completely aware but forgot about it
