Look at your hand. Is it really there, or are you just imagining things? How are you able to know for sure that it's actually there. What if it was something small, unnoticeable, like a single skin cell out of place. But because of that one skin cell, you're now out of the loop of reality. Will you have ever known that that one cell was out of place, or will you just assume it's right where its always been? What about when another, and another cell becomes desynced from reality. You won't even feel yourself shifting ever so slightly, all you'll feel, is what you want to feel. You'll feel like those cells have always been there, and you won't even percieve yourself changing. It'll be reality. But not the true reality, your reality.

I completely understood the point you were trying to get across. You basically made the assertion that Discord is knowledgeable of Twilight's role within our fandom and how different people reacted to her ascension. However, like I stated before you didn't take this story anywhere. Instead I feel you gave us a glimpse into Discord's knowledge of the universe and instead of actually using this to make a change in the story or Twilight's character you merely brought this point up and left it there. This just feels rough and unfinished to me.

5733268 I've come up with a bit of a system for getting through the submissions folder that makes it seem like I work a lot more than I do.
I go into submissions, look for the current shortest story, andboom! See if it gets in.
This has the advantage of all the tiny ones that either don't go anywhere or are sweet enough to get in go by really quickly and don't take up a lot of time, so the big ones don't hold me up particularly. So, I'll be getting to it after getting through all the shorter stories, but like everything else in the folder, I do plan on getting to it eventually.

5733356 No problemo. I typically go into as much detail as I need to to explain if it meets my standards or not, and often if it doesn't, a bit more for good measure. I also try to be at least 70% unbiased.
This reminds me of something else I saw, where when a show ends, any show really, that universe ends, the characters die. I imagine that that idea and the idea shown here would go rather well together.
This fic has made me think differently about reality. Is it truly there, or is it a part of our imagination. We might be the products of someone else's imagination, and we percieve that as reality. But thinking about it gives me a headache, I shall ponder upon it later
