My only problem with this story is that the identity of the mystery girlfriend is just way too predictable. It was otherwise a nice little story, I just wish you had picked a different character.

A thought-provoking episode, to be sure. It really is a tricky issue that's far from being black and white. I think this story handled it well. The girlfriend's identity was predictable, but really, who else could it have been? It does make sense, really.

I continue to be impressed with the way you interpret the new world that was presented Equestria Girls, and look forward to reading more episodes.

Scootaloo leaned back on her sleeping bag, propping her head up on her hands with a self-satisfied smile. “Yes, and yes, all the time.”

Oh, Scootaloo. I really like this bit--it's cute, and and it's so true: when we were teens, falling in love for the first time made us feel so cool, y'know? It's something to be proud of and that you silently pray that someone asks you about when you play Truth or Dare at sleepovers so you can get a chance to brag to your best friends. At least, that how it was to me, and it seems in-character of Scootaloo that that's how it feels to her in this story! (My first boyfriend and I had ScootaDash's age difference so I really relate to the ship!)

Oh, and I just wanna point out a couple of typos I spotted:

Scootaloo was dating someone who was over eighteen, a legal adult. That was as old as Big Macintosh, who’d practically raised Apple Bloom. They were no doubt much bigger than her… who knew what they were doing to her, or would do to her in the future...

You should be using the word "she" instead of "they" here; Scootaloo already said that the person she's dating is a girl.

Oh wait, no, there she was now rolling up to the front steps of Canterlot High School on her Scooter, balancing easily on one leg and waving to some of her fellow students as she passed.

You miscapitalized the word "scooter" here.

This was a great read, and I am going to enjoy checking out the rest of your stories!
