Always living in peace with nature and fighting to maintain its balance and beauty, Fluttershy has dedicated her life to seeing it flourish. Can her friends pull her back from the precipice of self-doubt and depression before it's too late?

You need to do a fic focused on Sunset Shimmer. By the way FIRST!!!

An unadventurous character like her tends to stick to her daily routines, which might explain why Fluttershy’s episodes are almost universally about her simply being shy and trying not to be shy.

Huh, never thought about it like that. :rainbowhuh:

3315608 Okay let me rephrase that: One that takes place before Twilight's arrival into Canterlot High.

3315692

That is an interesting idea.

3315696 You have to admit until the movie all that was shown in the comic was what happed before she arrived in the Highschool but not after that until Twilight arrived.

3315712Yeah, but the right time for that would have been months ago, not mere weeks before the release of the annual which is supposed to cover that period.

3337212 Time is relative. I mean Sunset snuck into Canterlot every two years to learn some forbidden magic, until she found out about the Element of Magic, I would assume that if the portal mirror hadn't been moved Sunset would've sneaked into Ponyville and steal the Element of Magic and escape to Canterlot before anyone knew what was happening. The fact that the mirror was moved to the Crystal Empire the same time as the Princess Summit was being held was fortunate on Sunset Shimmer's part.

Yeah, Fluttershy it's the effort that counts. In the words of the immortal Phillip J. Fry...

Just so you know, there is no "h" in Discord.

the cafeteria serves veggie burgers.

Yes! I'm not the only one who noticed that those burgers looked funny! Anyway, I continue to like your portrayals of these human counterparts. So far, it all feels pretty believable (as believable as a cartoon like this can be, anyway). I have to wonder, though, if Fluttershy's misanthropic tendencies might be a little nod to the kind that's often seen in this fandom. Either way, it's another well-told story.

This was amazing. You write a really good EqG!Fluttershy, and you did a superb job of writing Good Sunset Shimmer -- perhaps the most intriguing character in the setting, but probably also the hardest to write.

What happened to Equestria Girls 07? I don't see it in your stories list.

Agreed! What happened?

Fluttershy stepped inside. “Thank you, I just wanted to talk to you about- ah!” Fluttershy gasped when she saw Flash Sentry seated at the small table in the kitchen, eating a bowl of cereal. “Oh gosh, I really am interrupting, I’ll leave you two alone…”

:pinkiegasp:

https://m.

Sunset shook her head. “No, they weren’t. Before the city of Canterlot, the three pony tribes were always at each other’s throats. Not quite on the brink of war, but always ready for it if it came down to it. Interesting, isn’t it? How a group of herbivores, when given the intelligence of a human, can act so much like them? Both the good, and the bad. Even after they came together there were some tensions as the three royal families tried to decide who would control what sections of the kingdom. This squabbling all became inane when Dischord rose to power, and then the alicorn princesses, but that’s a story I don’t think we need to go over just now in great detail.”

Discord, not dischord. :ajbemused:

“No point in it? Oh sweetie, of course there’s a point in it… the world will be a darker place if you’re not in it…” Rarity’s arm tightened around her.

She's right. :fluttershysad:

Besides, maybe Rarity was right. She didn’t have anything else to do with her life but keep trying… at worst she would fail, and it wouldn't be any different than if she didn’t try at all. But if by some miracle she succeeded… that was worth living for.

And that is what counts.
