After a day full of excitement, and a sleepover at Rainbow's, Scootaloo is brought above Canterlot to witness the princesses lower the moon and raise the sun. Her feelings, bottled-up throughout the years of frustration and envy, finally explode in a nervous breakdown.

After so many rejections from Rarity, a heartbroken Spike decides he no longer has room in his heart for mares. So instead, he becomes a homosexual, stating only stallions are welcome to tie a knot with his heartstrings.

But, when he confesses this to his best friends, and gets laughed at, he decides to run away, feeling like all ponies see him as a joke. In doing so, he runs away from his home, unintentionally traveling to a familiar cave, with a trio of acquaintances he thought he'd never see again. But, acquaintances can become friends, as long as you allow them to.
