This story is a sequel to Obama Goes to Equestria

Not a trollfic, just perverse.

The humans had been coming to Equestria for a while. One, Barack Obama, had caught Twilight's eye. He told her of a world she could only dream of—a world of freedom and democracy. A world where people made their own decisions, and were not the playthings of a millennia old immortal who had long since shed her concept of morality.

Only one thing stood between her and that world. Princess Celestia.

So, she killed her.

Only one problem—Celestia never died. After hiding for two years, and letting the world crumble without her guidance, Celestia came back, split up the mane six, banished Obama to the moon, and resumed her tyranny with typical royal flourish.

She never killed them.

Maybe that wasn't the best idea.

This is my very first story ever but I've wanted to put this out there for a long time a majority of my wanting to wright this story is to give my oc's a background or a base point of other story ideas I have.

Sunset Shimmer is having the worst day of her life. She used to be important. She was the personal student of Princess Celestia. She was a future leader of Equestria. She was the kind of mare that everypony envied.

Today, it's all crashing down around her.

Alternate Universe: What if Sunset Shimmer hadn't gone through the mirror?

Twilight and her friends are setting up to celebrate the day Tirek has been defeated. Unfortunately, a fierce storm disrupts everything and blows Twilight away from Ponyville. She is then rescued by four brave knights: Thorne the bat imp, Rep the Chameleon, Catrina the Gypsy Cat Sorceress, and Tirek's brother Scorpan. Her friends go look for her while followed by an old enemy to both Scorpan and the Mane 6. Dark secrets will be uncovered in this story.

During the rise of the Regal Sisters and the fall of the Heads of the Three Tribes, political strife ruled the land. The three tribes were ponies and the old ways often prevented other kinds of ponies to be accepted as a part of the new kingdom. But as fate and Luna would have it four unlikely heroes are pulled together and fight to preserve the rule of the Regal Sisters under the name of the Princess of the Night. Four bat ponies, a loyal soldier and one of Luna's personal Dream Walkers, a heartless assassin, a young foolish stallion chasing a legacy he may never have, and... an obscenely resourceful little filly who loves to play and eat cookies.
All these rather unlikely heroes must battle their way through the corrupt ranks of the leaders of the three tribes who are mounting a resistance to the Regal Sisters and making plans for a different empire where only three races would reign supreme. Not everyone is fit for Duty under Princess Luna but for their own fate and the fates of their princess they must pull through or see the only hope they have fall through into darkness.

Riptide, a glider sea pony, is tasked to to travel to the mainland and find Princess Celestia on behalf of the sea ponies, who fear their possible extinction. Once on land, he'll have to travel the tiny land of Equestria, make his way to Canterlot, (just a few hours from the coast, or so he's been told) and deal with the local wildlife, terrifying pony gobbling monsters like possums and hedgehogs. (Which Riptide imagines to be some kind of porcine-plant based horror.)

Selected because Celestia sent a message requesting a pony that needs to make friends, Riptide suffers from crippling social anxiety disorder. He carries with him the hope of the sea ponies.

Roseluck discovers something horribly wrong with her garden. Blossomforth knows how to fix it—or does she?
