Twilight has been locked up in her library for weeks. The tree is in a state of disrepair and no word has been heard from either Twilight or Spike. Her friends are worried sick and Twilight's refusal to come outside have only left them curious to why she remains in her antisocial state. What's wrong with Twilight?

The country is Equestria, and the year is 21xx. Reploids, robots that are designed to act just like ponies, are mainstream workers now. These technological advances are thanks to archaeologist Cain, who after unearthing the last creation of the late Canterlot Princess, Twilight Sparkle, decided to expand upon this idea and revolutionize the world.

But this isn't the story of X. This is the story of how Cain's first and greatest creation became the worlds biggest threat. This is the story of Lambda, a reploid made in the image of the late sun Princess, and how she soon became an enemy to all of Equestria.

What would happen if Pinkie had no memory's of being a crazy party planer, but instead, all she could remember was her sad, awful days on the farm. Will her friends be able to bring back the old Pinkie, or will she never remember? I hope everyone enjoys this story, I will try to make this a long story. Maybe around 10,000 words. An ancient evil is rising, but with the Elements of Harmony returned to the Tree of Harmony it may be unstoppable. Fortunately for Equestria, there exist other worlds, with their own Harmony magics. Two people from one such world have been brought to Equestria, and will soon have the chance to help save it.

This fic is a crossover with the Ar Tonelico series, a niche JRPG developed by Gust and Banpresto. They’re notable for having a fairly unique setting (thanks to a giant disaster all survivors are living on top of giant magic-tech supercomputers), an oddly feminist tone for a niche JRPG, and really sweet music. (Too bad the third game forgot point two.) Although each of the games are flawed in their own way, I feel like the good outweighs the bad, at least for the first two. After noticing the similarities between certain characters in the series and certain MLP characters I was inspired to write this.

Also there are massive spoilers for Ar Tonelico 1, 2, and probably Qoga but oh well. Studies claim that spoilers actually increase your enjoyment of things anyway! You can find a text LP for the first Ar Tonelico here.

This story is a sequel to Transistance

Equestria a thousand years into the future. Powerful entities would spare no expense to prevent sentient machines, Equestria's primary workforce, from ever becoming legal citizens. Others, shown the error of their ways, will come to lengths to repair their past mistakes. Trust lost once is hard to restore, but a gift of extreme generosity comes a long way.

This story is an unofficial one-shot sequel to excellent Transistance by ToixStory. Reading the original is mandatory, otherwise this story won't make much sense to you.
