I've been wrestling with this decision for a while, but after a lot of thought I came to the conclusion that there was no way I could adequately characterize certain individuals without including some, uh, fairly messed up situations. So I have this problem. It's something that's cropped up repeatedly while writing Memories of a Phoenix. I think of a story arc, and certain bite-sized bits seem to make up a decent chapter, so I naturally lump them together and begin hacking away on my keyboard.
