Twilight Sparkle and her friends have arrived at the fifth annual Equestria Battle Tournament, eager to show off their skills in battle alongside many other ponies and other races from and around Equestria. (Including some combatants who don't hail from anywhere near Equestria.)

However, not everything is as it seems as Princess Celestia mysteriously disappears right before the opening ceremonies. What happened to Princess Celestia? Is this part of a conspiracy? And can the Mane 6 protect a mythical Pokemon from the clutches of a dangerous Pokemon hunter? (And for that matter, what the hay do Pokemon even have to do with all of this?) If the Mane 6 and their friends, new and old, want any answers, there's only one thing they can do at this point. FIGHT!

Twilight has failed, or rather, she has succeeded. Her darkness is her power, and together with her husband, Queen Twilight has a new plan for all of Equis. Said visitor turns out to be none other than Spike, the dragon that has been infatuated with Rarity for years now. In the city of Manehattan, everything is ridiculously expensive, so it's hard to live on one's own. Which is exactly why coworkers and friends, Grace Manewitz and Coco Pommel, share a flat. In this mini-series that shows a day in the life of these two mares, misadventures are sure to occur.

After all, what they say is true: "Anything can happen in Manehattan!"

Rarity has become her worst fear, a spider. Or better said: an arachnid pony. Nonetheless, it doesn't take away from the fact that she isn't really happy about it, at first. The hopes be that the rest of Ponyville will like it, for three little fillies certainly do. Heaven be ready for whatever happens next when the four of them are together.
