In a moment that I feared might never come, I managed to finish the long gestating new chapter of Captain Equestria!

Now all it needs is to be proofread, and it can be published!

So, I'm gonna go send out the chapter to my proofreaders. Hopefully, if everything works out, it can be posted by later tonight, or perhaps tomorrow.

In the past few months, I've come to the realization that, in all honesty, MLP isn't my main focus anymore. My interest has wained in the show, and I've found other shows and fandoms to take up my time and creative capacites in ways I find far more fulfilling then the Harmony's Warriors Universe.

Lately, those stories have lost the previous sense of joy and eagerness, and now present merely another source of frustration in a time in my life where things are naturally, rather complex.

Well, first off, good news!

I finally got over my toxic mix of anxeity/apathy/depression/angst that was the fuel of my Captain Equestria related writers block, and I was able to brush up on the Apple Bloom scene that Phoenix Avalon drafted up. Hopefully, the final modifications will be made over the weekend and we'll be able to get those in there and then publish the already finished unpublished chapter that was on hold.

...you realize the supposedly good idea of reworking Apple Bloom's recruitment actually raises more questions then it answers, and just makes things MORE complicated.

I was discussing it with Nightcrawler fan, and he pointed out some kinks, and we've been batting it back and forth for awhile now, trying to find a way to make it work so I don't have to spend six months reworking shit I already wrote when I could actually be moving forwards with the story.

I'm going to roll my sleeves up and try to get some 'splatter' writing done in Captain Equestria, since at least I have a good idea what I want there.

Here's hoping.

Okay, since I've had writer's block for at least two weeks, I'm going to go over to Captain Equestria, and just try to see if I can have some flow there, since my flow in Spider-Colt right now, is a bare minimum. Not for lack of trying though, I'll have you know that.

Anyways, here's hoping something can be produced.

Yeah, there was actually supposed to be a scene of Applejack having dinner with the Sparkles, but I figured it's better to save that either for the next chapter, or just skip it entirely if necessary.

But yeah. Chapter's done, so I'm going to send it out for proofreading and stuff, and hope for the best.

The Captain Equestria chapter is still being written.

I now remember why I usually don't do two chapters of the same story back to back.

It takes me forever just to write one.

Hell, right now, I'm just "splatter writing", which is what I call it when I just start forcing the text out of me regardless of quality.

Hopefully, in the end, it's salvageable.

FINALLY got the Captain Equestria chapter finished.

The good news is that I think the new Captain Equestria chapter is as finished (plot wise) as its gonna get.

If I try to fit anything more into it, its liable to get overloaded and topple over or feel bloated.

And no, she STILL hasn't taken the serum. Its just as frustating to me as it no doubt is for you guys.

I'll try to get that done next chapter, or more likely, the chapter after that. But really, I'd rather have the story take its time then try to stuff too much into one chapter.
