status update for those who care · 6:47am Sep 27th, 2014
Well, first off, good news!
I finally got over my toxic mix of anxeity/apathy/depression/angst that was the fuel of my Captain Equestria related writers block, and I was able to brush up on the Apple Bloom scene that Phoenix Avalon drafted up. Hopefully, the final modifications will be made over the weekend and we'll be able to get those in there and then publish the already finished unpublished chapter that was on hold.
Second of all, I started watching Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, and its awesome! I'm, like, only 16 episodes in or so, but its rocking.
Thirdly, I also started watching Twin Peaks, and while I'm only two episodes in, I love what I've seen. I'll hopfully be able to get into it more once this whole Captain Equestria nightmare is fixed.
And further more, I got into Gravity Falls something fierce while on my vacy back in July, and boy is it awesome. Seriously, go watch it.
And FINALLY, I started watching the Marvel Anime: X-Men, and its also super awesome. More character development and drama then EIGHT live action films. Better team balance as well. All in all, real solid.
So yeah, there's the status updates. Woot!
Oh! I also finally started listening to Frank Sinatra for serious. Shit is so classy I had to get a second monicle.
So all in all things are looking up!
Glad your not down in the dumps anymore! I have no idea what Full Metal Alchemist is, and I have little knowledge about the anime X-Men, other than that loads of people like it, but I do watch a lot of Graviy Falls. Haven't had the time to see any of season 2 yet, but I have them recorded. I love Sinatra too.
If you like his music, check out Dean Martin, the Ink Spots, and Cole Porter. They're pretty great.
Started off a bit nihilistic, but glad to see things improved.
If I have time in my schedule, I should get around to watching Brotherhood (started watching the original, then life happened)
