For Evenstar Boral, the question was always an academic one, suitable for late night conversations and maybe an article in the university newspaper.
Now she's getting a little more field experience than she'd like.
With strange ponies recognizing her on the street and her best friend plagued by nightmares, Evenstar finds herself thrust into events seven thousand years in the making. What is the strange symbol that keeps cropping up in her life? How can someone she's never met know so much about her? And who was Twilight Sparkle?
But there is still hope, for even in a world of shadow and fear, true friendships never fade.

When Rarity has a chance meeting with Braeburn, a blossoming friendship is tested by the latter's sudden silence. Undeterred, Rarity chases the frontier pony to Appleloosa, determined to know what he is keeping from her and keep their connection alive.

She finds a new world clashing with everything she thought she valued, a town determined to push her generosity to the limit, and obligations tearing her in two directions at once. Amidst the dirt and sand, a search for friendship turns into something much more serious.

Rarity is one of the most famous, successful fashionistas in Equestria. The unicorn has it all from the shops and dresses to the fame and respect. Certainly it has been an easy road for her, right? At least, that is what Sweetie Belle thinks until she finally asks Rarity, "What kept you going despite all your failures?"

When Twilight Sparkle acquired the Power Pony comic-book spell, she thought all her bookworm dreams had come true. Sadly, her plans to live through every Daring Do novel are cut short when Rarity asks they try a romance novel.

It's one thing to reenact a cheesy dramatic love scene with your significant other. It's another thing entirely having to rescue them from being the permanent main character of a book. Literally.
