Princess Celestia tires of constantly being surrounded by decorum, deference, and formality, and decides to take a day off from being Princess. But visiting Ponyville incognito is harder than she expects. Will she be able to fit in and make friends without blowing her cover?

What is a pony supposed to do when he manages to get his cutie mark only to find out that it's against the law? He runs away, he travels from town to town living as a nomad with many different names. When he gets caught he gets hurt and scarred by the people who fear his talent and he runs again. But eventually he comes to a small town called Ponyville and becomes a lot more involved then he ever intended to be.

Made this story because it wouldn't get out my head and I needed a break from my HiE fic.

With her dreams crushed after the horrible night at the Grand Galloping Gala, Rarity leaves her friends to sulk in peace and quiet. However she finds her hopes of being alone are shattered as her little "Shadow" known as Spike follows her to cheer her up.
