This story is a sequel to The True Origin of the Cutie Mark Crusaders

A strange creature has wandered into town and ends up on Applejack's farm. AJ is not pleased but so many unanswered questions about him cause her to be curious. The dragon seems to have no family but the residents of Ponyville soon discover a link between the creature and the towns librarian.

But now they are trapped in a world they don't understand-Equestria. How will these five normal human girls deal with such dangers as dragons, minotaurs, parasprites, -and perhaps the most dangerous of them all,- themselves?

Don't you just hate it when you get something new and everyone wants to play with it at the exact same time? When Spike gets his claws on the latest Guitar Hero game, he finds his path to gaming freedom blocked by none other than the Mane Six. Will he overcome such a challenge and earn the right to melt his brain for a week?

Since I am unable to include lyrics, I highly, highly, HIGHLY recommend listening to the songs provided via hyperlinks throughout the story as they will greatly aid in providing some much-needed context. Now edited to improve readability.

This story takes place after "Secret of my Excess". After Spike causes a rampage in Ponyville and is turned to normal, there's one gift that Spike realized he forgot to open.

Spike has been away on royal business for about a month. Pinkie, Twilight and the rest of the gang are planning a big party for him when he returns. Things seem to be going smoothly until certain happenings lead Spike to question the way other ponies see him, specifically one purple-maned unicorn, and a turn of events results in them seeing a part of Spike none of them-including him-knew existed. It seems they didn't know as much about Spike as they think they did...

Chapter 15 is up!

Concerned by how lonely Spike has been acting lately, Twilight decides to send him back to school for the day in hopes that he'll make some new friends. He won't just be learning pony history there, though - he'll also learn something about one particular pony's true self.

Spike left three years ago, and nopony knew where he went. He has finally come back home, back to Ponyville, but it's not the same. Only Rainbow Dash and Rarity remain in the town and a gangster now runs the town, Bloody Rich. Spike takes it as his mission to save the town and chase Bloody out, and maybe patch things up with his friends, but can he? A secret lurks in Spike's heart that Rarity cannot dig out, and if it does come out, could they still look at him?
