Through corporate greed and the pillage of the land, companies have marketed magic to the masses. Promising the gifts of Enhanced Magical Prowess in every aspect of your life and even non-natural born gifts through science and magical extraction. Gone are the blue skies and rainbows, long since replaced by brown and shades of grey. Dingy, an earth pony mare, blends perfectly into the landscape around her, largely unnoticed by many and always overlooked.

Being short of hoof with her finances, she submits to clinical trials for extra money to pay rent with Spark Industries. Little did she know that this simple cash grab would turn into such a tangled web of disaster. Leaving behind anypony she ever knew she is sent far into the future, where things were not what she expected at all.

Finding solace in the only voice she has, Dingy struggles to keep her sanity in a world with nopony in it and somehow manage to survive and find her way back home.

There are many stories where Twilight tells off her friends after the Wedding. But that's not really Twilight's bag, she gets worried she's failed, or depressed, not angry. So here is a different bridal path, one where Twilight acts decisively to try and redeem herself in the eyes of her friends and sovereign, and ends up travelling to places she never imagined, facing dangers and foes she never dreamed of and making even stranger friends. Of course, there is still a 'reason you suck' speech delivered, but delivered by the last person anyone would expect...

Sunset was very hurt and betrayed by her so-called friends after they callously dumped her during the Anon-A-Miss incident. However, she can't bring herself to leave; she can't go back to being the person she was - aloof, cold, and alone.

And so she buries it. Tries to forget it. Easier said than done.

It has been three months since the events of Anon-A-Miss and Sunset running away to Los Pegasus with Jackie Vibrato. Despite the tears and the hardship, Sunset Shimmer has grown close to and given her trust to a new group of friends, joined their band the Pony Breakers, and has really thrived in her short time in Los Pegasus.

Unfortunately it seems she cannot just simply be allowed to forget Canterlot and the ex-friends that had abandoned her during the Anon-A-Miss incident. A stop over in Canterlot on their way to Manehattan shows just how much things have changed at the school since Sunset Shimmer left. And who is that (face it well all know it's human Twilight) snooping around the school's statue where the portal is?!
