I have good news and bad news. The good news is that I've finished the latest chapter, the one which was also supposed to be the final chapter. As you can probably deduce, the bad news is that it isn't. I've written the build-up and the first half of the climax, and it's come to over 5000 words. However, I definitely need another chapter at least as long to finish the climax and round things off nicely.

In case you're wondering where the climactic part of A Different Bridal Path is, I was trying to write it over the Christmas break at my mothers house, only to run into my old enemy, writers block. Thankfully, returning to Liverpool seems to have fixed it. No promises as to when it gets done, but at least I'm progressing again.

It seems my montage bridging chapter didn't work as well as I hoped. I only put it in because there were comments asking for it, so I'm not that bothered about the cool reception.

In case people are wondering, I am still working on ADBP. I've written four new chapters (well, three and a bit). The problem with writing freestyle rather than having a plan is that sometimes what looks like it would work, doesn't.

Bride and Gloom was supposed to be followed by a Twilight chapter that took her all the way to the same point in time. However, when i actually started writing it, it turned into a monster. So I've broken it up.
