Princess Celestia's reign as the sole ruler of Equestria has been a long one, and, for the most part, it has been a good one, as well. Even so, the specter of Nightmare Moon's inevitable return has been weighing on her mind. Although the looming deadline is still years away, Celestia can't seem to keep from dwelling on things to come, to the point where any change from the norm seems like it would be a welcome distraction. All that changes, however, when a young archaeology student arrives in her throne room with distressing news about recent events in Vanhoover. Her sister, it seems, is not the only imminent threat.

It's been years since Twilight Sparkle has seen Spike—not that she's had any particular desire to find him since their friendship turned sour. However, with Equestria facing an imminent invasion, Twilight's advisors convince her to make a final effort to mend her relationship with her former assistant.

This story is a sequel to Transdementia

This was not how things were supposed to go for Sunset Shimmer. Thanks to Pinkie Pie and her crew of interlopers, instead of returning to Equestria at the head of a conquering army, she was now serving time in the Ft. Featherworth Prison, with little prospect of any sort of parole thanks to her reputation. However, as far down as she is, she is most definitely not out: just before their return to Equestria, Pinkie and her friends let slip just enough information while she was in earshot to allow her to start forming a plan.

And Sunset Shimmer is never more dangerous than when she has a plan.

This story is a continuation of the plotline begun in The Petriculture Cycle. The first story can be found here, and the TV Tropes page can be found here.

This story is a sequel to Pandelirium

Things have started to settle down since Twilight Sparkle and Pinkie Pie were crowned as princesses of Equestria, but that doesn't mean that any semblance of normalcy will be arriving. The first major summit of Equestria's ruling princesses is cut short when a thief steals the Element of Magic and escapes to another world. However, because of Pinkie's rather unique skillset, Celestia sends her to retrieve it, rather than Twilight. But even though the other Element-bearers will be staying behind, Pinkie won't have to face this task alone....

This story is a continuation of the plotline begun in The Petriculture Cycle. The first story can be found here.

Try as she might, the weather's just not Rarity's medium.

Set during the events of Magical Mystery Cure.

Chapters (1)

Rarity goes out for a spot of frou-frou nonsense. Typical elegant stuff.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
A one-shot character study about the particular pleasure of traditional marksmanship.
(NOTE: NOT FUNNY. However, gunhaver Rarity is part of a comedy - check here for that.)
This story is a sequel to Fluttershy, Royal Game Warden (?)
Ever since Rarity was a wee filly, she has always fantasized about the life of the nobility. The inestimable glamour! The fabulous balls and galas! The magnificent castles! Even after running roughshod into the very worst of highborn snobbery at the Gala, that little foalish tingle keeps dragging her mind back to that particular whimsy in the quiet times.
Incidentally, Luna needs some poor gullible idiot she can ennoble before throwing them into the very foulest political cesspit in Bitaly on a wild-goose chase for nine million bits. How convenient!
Reading the previous story is highly recommended, not only because this one won't make much sense without it, but also because it's a 100% certified banger. Obviously.
Chapters (13)
In the shadow of political turmoil, riots, and inter-tribal conflict, Equestria cannot afford another crisis. When a legal snarl over a funeral explodes into a scandal, there may be a chance to set things right.
Now, armed with total faith in the power of friendship and harmony, Twilight Sparkle arrives in Cloudsdale to talk down a fringe movement of radical young Pegasi.
It would be a lot easier if their leader hadn't been petrified for fifty years.
Takes place between The Last Problem and MLP: A New Generation.
Winner of Imposing Sovereigns IV, with the prompt Twilight Sparkle/Persistence
One year ago, the immortal moon lich died.
One year ago, Twilight Sparkle the so-called human moved to Ponyville.
Rarity never believed that, of course. The "human" bit. After all, no human would willingly choose to live in a town of monsters, and no amount of magic or hunting orders or Plans with a capital "P" would ever change her mind on that—especially when said human was so constantly collected and calm.
But... if she wasn't human, what kind of monster could she be?
Written for the Raritwi-deprived Monochromatic, who so graciously let me cook for 1/4th of a year. Huge thanks to Swan Song for prereading, and to everyone I pestered for synonyms whenever the last of my braincells refused to word. Cover art by me!
Princess Twilight Sparkle has been faced with a difficult decision. Unsure of what to do, she seeks advice from her old mentor, Celestia. The ex-ruler of Equestria may not have an answer for her, but she does have a story. A story about guilt. A story about the greater good.
A story about the day after the worst day of her life.
