With her life partners busy being grumpy over the holiday season, Sonata Dusk decides to recruit Sunset Shimmer to take her to the local Hearth's Warming festival.

Against your better judgement, you ended up having three little girls that you have to take care of all by yourself now.

As much trouble as they can be sometimes, you still wouldn't trade them for the world.

There is a nursery rhyme that has made its way in various forms through Equestria's history, featuring three little fillies, a wicked wizard, and a dark mirror. But the passing of the centuries have a way of obscuring the true story, and the events that gave rise to this simple but eerie poem have been shrouded in the mists of time.

But in another world, they wait. They resent. They remember. And they, at least, will never forget.

Set in the TAS continuity, but can stand on it's own.

Aria Blaze hasn't done anything since they lost their magic at Canterlot High and were found by Sunset Shimmer. She simply doesn't feel like anything is worth doing... which leads her to wonder why she's still here at all.

After the student body of Canterlot High is swayed by yet another surprise musical number during lunch, Sunset Shimmer muses the students are easily influenced by songs at this time. Pinkie quickly comes up with a song of her own.

Sunset Shimmer considers this a high point of her week.

This story is a sequel to Sonata's Food Trouble

Adagio tries to teach Sonata to drive and sets the blue knucklehead up for an experience that'll need double the insurance.

These two sirens are now stuck in traffic and they are set on driving, but this is not easy for Adagio, Sonata, or Aria, who was stuck in the backseat for a different reason.

(You don't need to read the prequel to understand this, but it would tell you where things are going in terms of success.)

The Dazzling's, in dire financial straights after the Battle of the Bands, open a restaurant with Anon. They solve mysteries. Cuteness ensues.

The Rainbooms are still jerks to them. Sunny is ok.

Sonata has a tooth ache. Adagio and Aria don't want to deal with it. Sunset Shimmer gets involved. Applejack is there. It's gonna be one of those days.

With only four weeks left till the end of year exams, Sonata has but no choice; she must improve her grades and pass her tests, or she'll be forced to redo the year. But despite her amazing memory, with her lack of focus, she won't have much of a chance. But thanks to Vice Principal Luna, she won't have to go at it alone.
