While journeying out into the Royal Labyrinth, Celestia happens upon a rather sorry-looking draconequus by the name of Eclipse Tumult. While he's skittish at first, she eventually earns his trust. With his help, Princess Celestia hears Discord and Eclipse's story from a new perspective: one leading back to times long before she even existed...

Eclipse was Discord's "Brother", in a manner of speaking. The two had grown up together, moved from place to place together, and been shunned and hated together. Eclipse never left his brother, however... Not until he no longer had one.

He then arrived in Equestria, more specifically, Ponyville. He wanted to make a new life. It seemed everypony cared, but one stood out to him. This one, beautiful, mare. Her name of course, was Twilight Sparkle.

Meanwhile, the Templar are moving toward Equestria, and a big war is about to happen. Tranquilius must reveal his identity before it is too late, but will Twilight accept him for who he actually is, a professional killer?

Spike is put in charge of hosting the royal bachelor's party before Shining Armor 's wedding, but is side tracked by some unexpected acquaintances and the unlikeliest of allies in this farce of Spike's innocence being brutally assaulted for comedic enjoyment.

Ten years have past since the adventures of Twilight, Rarity, Applejack, Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash, and Fluttershy. Through pure conisidence, they all travel to the big city of Ponyopolis at the same time. They are all get caught up in a mess, a bad bad mess. They will have to overcome the obstacles that face them. Conflict, betrayal, and mystery will all be there, in Shy in the City.

A mysterious group of men has been kidnapping young women and turning them into ponies against their wills to sell them as slaves to some of the corrupt rich for profit. One such victim has been turned into a purple unicorn pony and was dubbed Twilight Sparkle by her captors. She has resigned herself to her fate as a pony slave and was awaiting the day for IT to happen... That is until the man who bought her has no such plans for her...

This is an Alternative Universe where the mane cast are originally human but were turned into their pony forms. Each chapter will begin with a transformation of the character who has the more prominent role in the current one and most of the plot happens afterwards, that way if you don't like transformations or view them as a fetish (when it really isn't in this case), you can skip it and continue with the story at hand.
While I did add Adventure to the tags, the characters don't really travel that much, but since there isn't a Mystery and Drama category in this site (which is what this story is), I had no choice but to use this tag for the both of them.

I forgot to introduce myself, my name is Red Bomber here, but my actual internet name is Guilrel and I am the actual author of this Dark Alternative which is based off on Toongrowner's ideas of Dark Alternative Universes and I got his permission to post the story here. The reason I didn't do this before because I was a closet brony I didn't want to let my watchers know that I like the show too, especially since my first fanfic to the show is a story like this. I was actually afraid of losing them because alot of people just do that to the authors and artists they're watching and go "Oh no. Not you too." and then de-watches them. But now I don't really care about that anymore and I'll go into more detail about this on my own journal. Anyway about the nature of this story, while this isn't a clopfic, I feel like that this is the furthest almost mature story I've ever written and I'm afraid of how many people will not like it. But I have to accept it that this will happen and I hope I'll actually have the heart to finish what I started. Because I really wanted help Toongrowner expand his idea and he's a really nice friend of mine for a while now, I can't really let him down now that I'm this far.

First story I've done, hope you guys like it.
Basically its a cupcakes follow up in which I explore the life after the 'disappearance' of Rainbow dash and 'The party' Which pinkie has installed.

Fluttershy is a mother now. She has 2 kids and one on the way. Her husband works for the army. But when Fluttershy gets terrible news, she has to hide quickly.

Upon eavesdropping on a conversation between Rarity and Twilight Sparkle, Spike discovers what his "true love" really thinks of him, and after reminiscing on his thoughts about it, he slowly begins to drift away from his friends. With sorrow and despair in his heart, Spike runs away from home, and runs into an old enemy that tries to help him out.

However, after realizing what she has done, Rarity begins to realize and discover that she has feelings for Spike after all, but can she save him before it's too late?

How far would you go for love? Would you travel across the world? Face peril whatever the danger? Even sacrifice your own being? Rainbow Dash will have to answer these questions as she tries to find a forbidden mirror to bring back the one she both loved and lost. But at what price will it be?
