After years of gruesome murders committed by an unknown organization the once peaceful land of Equestria has been left festering in a state of terror, but when the criminals are finally brought to justice it appears that harmony may once again return.

In a twist of fate, the lives of those responsible take a drastic turn when they are given a second chance at life, and thrust into the world tasked with learning the ways of the land and becoming one with society.

Meanwhile, as Celestia attempts to heal Equestrias scars unseen forces conspire to send her peaceful reign into chaos. Tensions flare and when the Princesses rule is brought into question it will be up to the citizens to decide the fate of Equestria.

The barriers between our worlds have always kept them separate. But because of a message missed by all but one, this barrier was broken. Now two friends find themselves in the land of Equestria. It is a land that is similar, yet different from the one we all know.

Now stuck in a new world with no hope of returning home, they must adapt to their new bodies. Neither of the two friends know that their presence has set off a series of events that they have never experienced before in any sense of the word.

The Crystal empire has begun to recover in the time since Sombra was believed to be obliterated by the power of the Crystal Heart. Crystal ponies the empire over are beginning to settle into new lifestyles, trying to adapt to a completely alien time.

The young lord of the Slate Ridge region of the Crystal empire has finally finished tying up loose ends after the funerals of his two parents before he's called to the capital to suffer through the suspicions of his fellow (he uses that word hesitatingly) nobles.

Though he seems like a well-meaning stallion despite a few...physical oddities, H.R.H. Princess Cadenza is soon to learn a secret about our young lord's bloodline that could have a few thousand of her loyal ponies shaking in their crystalline horseshoes.

And not to mention what the stallion in question will hear about in his father's final words.

I mean really! Who leaves that sort of outrageous announcement in one's will anyway?!

(( This is my first story everyone! I got this idea while mourning King Sombra's distinct lack of any sort of back-story whatsoever. I would -deeply- appreciate any constructive criticism, as this project is mostly to assist with my writing. I'm not so much interested in spelling corrections, but any clearing up you can do for my grammar and sentence structure will be welcomed with open arms. It was like any ordinary day in Ponyville - the sun was out, the sky was as blue as ever, and the ponies enjoyed their lives in peace... of course things would change as it appears somepony new has come to town.

At first he may look, odd for a pony, he may act strange, and yes he can be a little insensitive about a couple of things but you can't blame him... can you?

At least he's okay in Pinkie's book, sadly though he may be worse than Pinkie; I mean who doesn't love puns, can appear out of the blue by just mentioning him, does the impossible, carries items of immense power, is wise for his young age, is stronger than your average earth pony, is quiet and collected then raving mad and emotional the next... I mean he seems pretty okay... though he does have an ego problem, much worse than Rainbow's... he keeps on referring to deities and omnipresent beings...

...Oh and he keeps mentioning about him being from a faraway land not known in any maps and sometimes can act very weird if you either lie or assume things about him...

This all sounds like he makes himself to be some sort of god?... Is he a god?...

...Naaaaahhh...

The Dreamscape.

A web of Equestria's dreams all connected by one plane of existence, the Dreamscape keeps the innocence of ponies' lives contained inside their blissful little minds. But upon every age in history, there came a pony that could cross the Dreamscape, one that could touch others' dreams and influence their outcomes, their elements. That pony was one of a kind; once in 500 years would such a pony be born into being.

Lucid Dreams is just a sixteen-year-old colt, and yet he has taken upon himself the endless, ever-tiring task of monitoring the dreamworld and calming down nightmares that afflict the ponies of the kingdom. But one fateful night has pitted him up against a deadly force that cannot be stopped.

It threatens his life, as well as the hundreds of thousands of lives that exist around Equestria.

His heart is ready to leap up his throat.

And he cannot wake up.

The father-slaying dragon Alduin is slain, fallen at the hands of the Dovahkiin. However, a fatal wound had gone unnoticed, ending their time on Nirn. Thankfully, they had found themselves in a new body, awoken to new possibilities. A second chance to truly settle down, or perhaps to find a worthy hero for a greater threat?

Profanity is up there, though it's light.

Definitively blood (though I doubt it would count as gore, marking just in case) and themes of death, particularly at the start. Most of the tagged themes are pretty light.

Yes, there is an adventure and a slice of life tag. Equal parts, nice balance.

Seath the Scaleless is deemed an abomination by his entire race. Out of jealousy and hate, he betrays them in a war that wipes them out. And after centuries of trying to replicate scales through means of crystal, he is finally slain. But this wasn't the end for Seath the Scaleless, for in a land where time is convoluted, with heroes centuries old phasing in and out, he is given the chance to begin again.

He's reincarnated, near-death and mortally wounded, in the backyard of a timid little equestrian named Fluttershy. Seeing as he has nowhere else to go, she takes the abomination under her wing. As time passes, she quickly warms up to the dragon and embraces him with the alien concept of "kindness." But after centuries of the world and himself seeing only a monster, will it be enough?
