This story is a sequel to Becoming One With the Night

It was supposed to be a good day. Twilight and Luna were sharing the news of their relationship with their closest friends and family. However, Celestia's largest secret yet finally came out. Now, relations are strained between Celestia and everypony else. After all, what's Twilight to do when she finds out her second mother is actually her birth mother?

On top of this massive bombshell, soon Twilight will be sporting a pair of wings of her own. If she thought things were complicated now, just wait until Canterlot gets wind of a new alicorn. Life is about to become one giant nightmare for Twilight. But hey, at least she has Luna, right?

As stated above, this is a sequel. I highly encourage you to read the first story (the writing is extremely rough early on, mind you), but it's not entirely required to understand most everything that will be going on here.

EDIT: Takes place during S3, when it was originally conceived, thus the Alt. Universe tag. There was no redemption of Discord. There was no ascension. Yes, the Crystal Empire is back, and Cadance and Shining Armor are the leaders there. This should cover the more critical aspects of the season in regards to the story.

Life isn't simple. Sometimes, you want what you can't have. Others, you get what you never expected. And when you're young, any night during the summer holds unlimited promise of adventure and intrigue.

Sometimes, you just have to get in the car and let life find you.

Applejack and Rarity have been dancing around the idea that they're attracted to each other, and everypony can see it. Twilight, not being an expert, gets so frustrated about the tension that she decides to enlist Rainbow Dash's help in getting the two to 'let off some steam'. In the course of their planning, however, Twilight begins to realize that she herself has some deep-seated feelings for the brash Pegasus mare. How does a freshly-minted alicorn princess deal with new feelings like this?

I'm just a hopeless romantic, so excuse this if it seems trite or unpolished. Rated T for teen for suggestive conversations, and some sexy kissing. No clop. I can't write clop quite yet.

Note: Unlike my other stories, this one isn't likely to have any imaginative names for the chapters. It's simply too short for anything like that; I expect it to be no more than four or five chapters in length, with less than three thousand words a chapter.

Princess Celestia had a good day. Luna had been going out more often and was becoming quite fond of nightclubs, her dear niece Cadance had formally announced her pregnancy—though, privately, Celestia felt she was too young to be a great aunt—and, of course, Twilight, her beloved former student, had taken on her first student and Celestia couldn't be prouder! Yes, it had been a good day.

Celestia Sol woke up much like she did every day the morning: sun waking her as it danced upon her eye lids. Wait, the sun? Celestia's eyes snapped open to reveal she was in Twilight's old room in the observatory. On the other side of the room was a smaller bed where a small dusky unicorn was drooling on her pillow.

Clearly, it must be Tuesday.
