One day, Rainbow Dash notices something about Sunset Shimmer: she only eats salads, fruit, and non-meat products. So she decides to dare the former pony to try a meat product the next day at lunch. Little do they know what's on the menu that day...

Twilight was attempting a new spell of her own invention. It achieved the desired effect of transporting them across dimensions, but there was one problem. They can't get back, and are now fillies without their marks, and most of their memories. Can they survive in this new world? Will they get back? Who knows!

There are days that you just can't really explain. Such as when you jump off a diving board and accidentally go through a portal to another universe, oh did I mention I fell on my face? Well at least it was a cloud, but falling on your face only gets so fun. That's also how I met Spitfire, and Soarin, and Fleetfoot and just about every Wonderbolt in Cloudsdale. Did I mention that I fell face-first right in the middle of a really big Wonderbolts meeting? This is my tale of what life was like after I face-planted in a land of magical talking ponies yet didn't get admitted to an insane asylum.

James J. Quinn is an ordinary guy living in the town of Carney, Wisconsin. He's got ordinary parents, an ordinary sister and brother-in-law, and an ordinary nephew. As you can tell, he leads an ordinary life.

Then, one night, he meets a strange, disoriented woman in the woods. A woman with purple hair and sapphire eyes. A woman with three blue gems tattooed on her hips. A woman who claims to be a unicorn from a land called Equestria. A woman who calls herself Rarity.

This woman is also in possession of an medallion that has brought a pursuing evil to our world. Over the course of the next week, James and Rarity will develop a deep bond, heal a few wounds, and, joined by a few other Equestrian visitors, battle a madman for the fate of two universes.

Ten years ago a human crossed over the barrier of Equestria ending up in the royal garden, Princess Celestia eager to create a bond welcomes him into her kingdom. Though for the first five years he was kept out of the public until Princess Celestia's head scientist discovers the human creating a bioweapon capable of wiping out all of ponykind.

So with a heavy heart the Princess sentenced the human to Lost Hope prison for the rest of his life. Though five years later his execution is ordered, he escapes the prison to end up in the care of Ponyville's own fashionista...

After long consideration, Sunset Shimmer decides to return to Equestria to make amends. Everypony is very skeptical about this but Celestia decides on a test of sorts to see if she truly is sorry. She has to live with Twilight and Spike for 1 year, at the end of that year her fate will be decided by Twilight and Spike.

A HUGE shoutout to Love at Sundown by trahzo. That fic gave me the idea of writing a Spike x Sunset fic.
