Twilight and Trixie go through the adventure of life together, the other as their sister. Things go smooth for both mares, but as fillies their lives are more than unusual. While Trixie fights homework, school work, everything else that involves work, as well as her mother, Twilight stands alone as a golden child. More often than not, the sweet alumna sees herself saving Trixie from trouble around every corner. As Trixie lives life to the fullest, exploiting her sister for everything she could, Twilight prefers the quiet way, keeping Trixie in line as best she could.

Hello. My name is Elizabeth Shannon Rose Smith, but I prefer you call me Elizabeth. I'm rich, I hope you acknowledge that, and I have a best friend named Sara, who's also rich. So I said to myself one day, 'Hey, why not change into a pony and do it when my parents are away so I don't get in trouble except when they come back and see me gone and a random pink filly in my place and worry and grief for me like crazy when they don't recognize me?' Granted, Equestrians don't like new things, especially things that fundamentally alter their government. So maybe there is reason not to be happy after all.

Scootaloo's rather embarrassed by her Mom. Not because she isn't cool, arguably she's both the hottest and the coolest mom in Ponyville. It's not about the fact that her mom serves on the royal court either, though that doesn't help. Maybe it's got more to do with the fact that the reason her mom is almost never seen after sunrise or before sunset, or because before the Mare in the Moon returned to Equestria, she knew her name.

Or, you know, that her mother is a chocoholic, an embarrassing know it all that's actually lived it all, owes personal favors to Princess Luna, and has the unfortunate job description of 'ruler of the land and day'. Sure, having Celestia as your mom is cool and all, but at the same time nopony can know who she really is. Nopony gets to 'know' her, and every moment is guarded against snooping visitors. And yet, there's still hope for a better day to come. Even when all your mom's enemies and rivals finally come home to roost and ruin your day. It can't be all bad, right?
