In the aftermath of the Changeling incursion of Canterlot during the marriage of Shining Armour and Princess Mi Amore Cadenza, Equestria gears itself for war against the Changeling menace. The truth, as ever, is far more complex, as the esteemed Blueblood is merely looking for an easy and sedate life. Unfortunately, fate has a habit of throwing him into increasingly dangerous and suicidal missions, which he must survive with a combination of self-preservation, lying, and sheer blind luck, even if doing so only fuels his soaring reputation!

Prince Blueblood has returned home after a smashing trek to another world. He is completely prepared to live out his life inventing bigger and better uses for the Come to Life spell, and pursuing his choice of hobbies.

Life has other plans for him, as is often the case. An old family oath calls him to Tartarus, the magical prison designed to hold Nightmares at bay. There he must confront a dying warden, an ancient curse, and a bevy of monsters that would like nothing more than to see Equestria become a wasteland.

It will not be easy, but a number of friends both old and new will be willing to lend a hoof. Maybe. Hopefully. Eventually.

To say that the Wonderbolt's last trip to Manehatten was eventful would be an understatement. Spitfire broke her wing, met Rainbow Dash, dated Rainbow Dash, and a planned thunderstorm went out of control landing many ponies in the hospital. Now with Spitfire getting "promoted" to command of the Wonderbolt's Academy and Rainbow Dash on the mend from her own injuries, the two will learn just how much life can still throw at them.

Meanwhile, Soarin and Rapidfire must come to grips with their new roles as leaders of the Wonderbolts. Soarin doesn't know if he's up to the task, and Rapidfire doesn't know if he even wants to stay. All these trials and more await them further on up the road...

This is a tribute to the anniversary of a series of fanfiction by Alex Warlorn (http://www.fimfiction.net/user/Alex%20Warlorn). It was even declared canon with the Pony POV story.

Many say that Prince Blueblood is stuck-up, cowardly, rude and only thinks about himself. It is hard to argue with that but there might be more to him. So let us take a look how Prince Blueblood experienced the events of Discord’s day of chaos and the shockwaves of that desaster and how these events left marks on him.
