One morning, Celestia starts her day by hurling herself out a window. Her day goes downhill from there.

A thousand years is a long time. That’s true in all cases, even for two immortal sisters. After Princess Luna is saved from the clutches of Nightmare Moon, Princess Celestia can’t help but feel that she doesn’t know her sister anymore. She’s tried to give her sister space and let her grow as a pony, but Princess Luna chooses to spend her time hiding away in her tower rather than spending time with her sister. In a desperate plea to spend some time with her sister, Celestia asks Luna to have dinner with her. Dinner is great. Except it goes a little… too well… Everything will be okay, right? Surely these new feelings in Celestia’s heart are nothing. Surely.

I opened a Ko-Fi! Mainly because people wanted to donate in order to support me. It should help motivate me to write more in theory. I'll use whatever is donated to help commission more art for my fic.

Tempest Shadow would be the first pony to tell you she's not worthy of friendship. All she deserves after a life spent helping the Storm King conquer and pillage is four walls, bars, and solitude. More than she thinks, as it turns out. Come join her as she discovers what she's truly meant to do, what she's truly worth, and who she's truly meant to be with. Her life is going to change far more than she ever would have expected.

Twilight Sparkle is the alicorn of the stars, and after a period of self-discovery, ancient-goddess-discovery and a minor case of malmanifestation madness, she has finally come to share the night, a city, her ex-villain status and a bed with Luna, the alicorn of the moon.

Things are looking pretty good for her.

The five demigoddesses she created out of spite? Not so much. Celestia and Celestia are a little lost too, and for some unknown, completely mysterious reason, dragons are flooding into Equestria—and they're not acclimating. Someone probably should do something about that.

As I'm sure you can tell by the dates of submission, this story was started quite some time ago. Instead of completely ignoring things that have happened since season 3 on, this will be an alternate reality that branched from shortly before Twilight began the path to become an alicorn.

It all would have been much simpler, but it had to be the one Twilight could only call The Mare on the Moon.
