After GLaDOS is uploaded into a potato battery, Wheatley humiliates the AI even further by uploading her into a project that was abandoned by Aperture a long time ago. In the blink of an eye, she finds herself in a deformed body of flesh and bone that resembles an equine, and is just as powerless as one too. It comes with all of its needs and bodily functions as well. To make matters worse, she's trapped in a land full of insufferable creatures that just want to make 'friends.' Will GLaDOS' cold, sadistic sense of humor and morals get the better of the ponies? Or will they peel away the once artificial being's metallic shell and find that there's a softer side? Probably not, but it's worth a try.

Thanks only to the whims of random chance, the two princesses survived that encounter, but have been forced to live in fear of the time of his inevitable return. That time is now...

...But whatever revival was intended has gone a little... wrong. Behind the wheels of Grogar's body is the spirit of a slightly extremely eccentric human. Equestria would have been lucky to survive the real Grogar, but will the ponies fare any better with this loon ruling Tambelon?

King Sombra’s dark influence was obliterated by the Crystal Heart, and the villain is well and truly dead. But when he attempts to steal the afterlife of an innocent victim, a human spirit is left hurtling towards Equestria, where this unfortunate soul is revived into the only vessel available: the reconstituted body of King Sombra himself.

Thus, a cheerfully oblivious alien is crammed into the form of the most evil and malicious being Equestria has ever known. Not that Shining Armor and Cadence know this, of course. As far as they are concerned, the King is back and he’s lost his fricking mind.

Well, who would have thought I'd fall for a tomcolt? I sure didn't, especially with all that's happened. Me becoming a princess, getting new studies and duties. Love and relationships were the last thing on my mind. Well, they were, until a certain rainbow maned pegasus changed that. A botched viewing spell has sent Twilight Sparkle to Earth and into the care of Kyle West. Having been turned into a human, the local species, Twilight Sparkle relies on her host to help her as she finds a way back to Equestria. When the scruffy sex goddess mare is kidnapped by changelings, the two friends-turned-rivals must team up for an epic adventure that spans Equestria in order to seek not only her safety but also her affections, as they compete to outdo each other at every turn along the way.

Note: This story does not have a crossover tag, even though some of you mat have noticed that the title is inspired by the Mario and Luigi series of RPGs, down to the punny subtitle. That's because the story isn't actually a crossover with that series. AJ and Flutters won't be spelunking through Chrysalis's gut, and Rainbow Dash's sweet and pure raspy yet adorable voice doesn't power any sort of legume-themed artifacts. The story was originally a retelling of Superstar Saga, but then I decided that was dumb, so I changed the subtitle but kept the format because why not? This story is really just the product of the question, "What would happen if you take the classic Mario formula of the love interest being kidnapped and the quest to save her, but with lesbian horses instead of hairy Italian plumbers?"
