This is the prequel to my first story, Saving Private Bloom. This one is told by Twilight, as she and her squad set out to risk their lives to save one pony. From the terrible battle of Omaha Beach, to the tragic battle of Ramelle, with loses on the way, Twilight has to take risk after risk for the pony she never knew. Scootaloo has always idolized Rainbow Dash. When Dash agreed to teach her, she was positively thrilled. Unfortunately, accidents happen. Rainbow Dash isn't good at dealing with the consequences of her actions.

She had always been a pony that could be looked up to. Someone who seemed to know exactly what to do in any situation. But history tells time and time again that nopony is invincible.

Why must stories start at the beginning? Mine? The ending is the beginning. I did not wake up expecting to kill somepony.

Scootaloo is known for being a fervent admirer of Rainbow Dash, a member of the Cutie Mark Crusaders, and being wickedly fast on her scooter. But one question remains on everyone's minds when they think of her: where is her family?
Well, who better to ask than Scootaloo herself?

Warning: Contains character death (no gore).

With Pinkie Pie's brutal murder the whole of Equestria is on high alert. With no clues leading to who did it, it begins to look like Pinkie's killer will never be found.
Rainbow Dash begins to find herself loosing control both mentaly and physicaly. As Applejack tries to comfort Rainbow Dash. But she unintentionally becomes her next target.

After an accident with the Cutie Mark Crusaders leaves Scootaloo in Ponyville hospital, the doctor notices something strange about her. After a quick inspection of her wings, Scootaloo is allowed to leave. She wanders around Ponyville, wondering why her wings are different from everypony else's. Eventually, a mare notices her, and with a sigh, begins to tell her a story and a secret.
One that will change Scootaloo's life forever.

Scootaloo wants to fly.

Scootaloo has always been a filly with big dreams, but can they all come true?
At the very least, she can always follow in the hoofsteps of her hero, right?
