Twilight Sparkle has been working herself into such a state of fatigue that Celestia has ordered her to take a five month vacation from her studies and has given Spike the assignment to ensure that Twilight relaxes. A lot can happen in five months.
This story, though labeled as number five, was actually the first MLP story I wrote. I greatly enjoyed writing it and I hope you enjoy it too.

Spike wants Twilight to admit it. But she won't. Because it's not true.
It's ridiculous.
Right?

In all of her years, Twilight Sparkle always could tell about herself, with utmost confidence, that she had attained the precious thing called knowledge. It was the single, little truth often spoken by others thus she believed that she could solve any problem by herself if significant amount of time was given... but some problems can't be solved by us alone, especially not those of heart, no matter how much time is given.

Even today there are questions she can't answer because the road is uncertain. Without scientific data to proceed forward, how would she solve them? Read to find out how she journeys towards unknown while being guided by by the only one who can give her the answers...

Spike gets let down HARD by rarity but now he finally opens his eyes to the one he truly wants, twilight.

He gets so hard for rarity but ends up failing an so now after he's let down, twilight, helps spike out of it but now she is even more happy because of it.

"He truly loved her and knew she loved him just as much. The dragon gulped deeply as a fluttering sensation occupied his stomach. He didn't just love Twilight as a friend."

After finally giving up on Rarity, Spike realizes that the true mare of his dreams has been in his company for a lifetime, but is unsure if Twilight would ever consider him as more than a great friend and assistant. The only way he can find out is ask.

On the anniversary of her sister's banishment, Celestia comes across a lost dragon egg during her traditional walk that day. Desperate for some form of companionship, she decides to hatch it herself

However, she didn't quite take into account the effect the amount of alicorn magic she used would have on the egg's contents.

Be ready for a Spike quite unlike any you've seen (and I do mean that quite literally ! )
