Fleetfoot had everything. Her job, her coworkers, her friends. Fleetfoot knew beyond a shadow of a doubt she owed her place among the best to skill and talent, but equally to luck. And she was oh so grateful for that luck. But she finds herself less and less happy, especially when left to think alone. She’s started picking up old habits she thought she had left behind, and noticing more and more all the things she doesn’t have.
But well, that's life.

Rainbow Dash abandons Scootaloo in a vain attempt to do great things in New York City. While Fluttershy isn't keen to Rainbow Dash's real motivation, she soon becomes very aware of what it's like dealing with kid with so many problems.

One night at a get-together with her friends, Applejack learns that not only do her friends find her brother attractive, they've already got dibs on who will try to court the stallion. Big Machintosh and Fluttershy begin a companionship during the first day of their high school lives and try keep each other sane in a school that had already labeled them as outcasts for being overtly shy, among other things. As the year progressed, this companionship eventually changed into something more.

But both lives are instantly changed forever when Big Mac investigates a rumor about his new 'friend'.

Big Macintosh is dating Princess Celestia, and now all of Equestria knows thanks to a certain foal photographer. Dating a Princess is hard, thanks to her demanding schedule and his work at Sweet Apple Acres. The two rarely speak to one another during their get-togethers, but the silence sings between them.

The Apple family farm is in trouble. It was once underwater, but Discord fixed that. Now it’s underwater with a horrible, evil, greedy creature: a bank. Big Mac has only one day to get the bits together. After overhearing the flower mares talk about him, he gets an idea. It’s the oldest profession in the world, so how hard could it be?

All he has to do is keep quiet while he conducts business. So long as the customers are happy, and the bits are flowing, it’s all worth it. It’s just his reputation, self-esteem, health, and dignity on the line. It’s just a roll in the hay— it doesn’t mean anything…

Right?

Big Mac has always been seen as the one stallion in Ponyville that always seemed ready to be a father. He had raised A.J. and Bloom almost by himself, and always has time for the CMC. But is the large stallion ready to be a father? Mac himself doesn't know as he stares into the crib that holds his son. Is he ready to be a father? And if so, what kind of father could he be?
