Pokemon still holds the lead with 102,007 images. 1,428 new explicit images were added during September.
My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic is in second place with 78,467 images. 1,448 new explicit images were added during September.
Touhou is in third place with 61,653 images. 813 new explicit images were added during September.
DC Comics is in fourth place with 27,480 images. 218 new explicit images were added during September.
Street Fighter is in fifth place with 22,123 images. 268 new explicit images were added during September.
Naruto is in sixth place with 21,888 images. 281 new explicit images were added during September.
Marvel Comics is in seventh place with 21,380 images. 182 new explicit images were added during September.
Sonic Team is in eighth place with 20,678 images. 188 new explicit images were added during September.
Super Mario Bros is in ninth place with 15,937 images. 258 new explicit images were added during September.
Digimon is in tenth place with 15,286 images. 128 new explicit images were added during September.
My Little Pony beat Pokemon five months in a row!
Now that we've gone over the monthly update for the top ten porn producers, it's time to analyze the latest data regarding Rule 34 images for the mane six.
As of October 10, 2015, here's the state of Rule 34 for the mane six, according to Rule34.paheal.net:
Twilight Sparkle
has 11,492 images. 198 explicit images were added during September.
Fluttershy
has 9,208 images. 177 explicit images were added during September.
Rainbow Dash
has 9,202 images. 149 explicit images were added during September.
Pinkie Pie
has 7,980 images. 104 explicit images were added during September.
Rarity
has 7,672 images. 168 explicit images were added during September.
Applejack
has 7,294 images. 97 explicit images were added during September.
Fluttershy surpassed Rainbow Dash! When I started recording this data in 2012, Fluttershy was in fourth place. In the years that followed, her popularity has surpassed Pinkie Pie and Rainbow Dash in terms of porn production. Congratulations, Fluttershy!
Before I get to the amazing graphs, I need to discuss a change which will be coming to the rule 34 updates moving forward. When I started recording rule 34 trends in 2012, it was done primarily to highlight the exponential increase of My Little Pony porn in comparison to other series. Now that Pokemon is the only remaining rival for MLP:FIM, it no longer seems necessary to record the top ten porn producers. Third place (Touhou) has more than twice the amount of rule 34 as fourth place (DC Comics). Starting with the November data, I will only be recording the numbers for the top three porn producers: Pokemon, My Little Pony and Touhou. Just remember that the fourth highest porn-producing series has less than half as much explicit imagery as third place.
As of November 10, 2015, here's the state of Rule 34:

Last year I mentioned how excited I was that Lauren Faust would be directing an animated movie about Medusa for Sony.
At a recent animation expo, Lauren Faust revealed publicly that she's no longer working at Sony Pictures Animation on the feature film project Medusa.
“I very much enjoyed my time at Sony Pictures Animation and was extremely excited about the progress our amazing team was making on Medusa,” Faust said, “But, as it happens at so many studios with so many projects, we ultimately ran into creative differences on the direction of the project. I do not know if Medusa has been shelved, but I am no longer working on it or at Sony.”
I recently found this trailer for a film called Pony Trouble.
What's truly amazing is that it was able to accurately predict the brony phenomenon years before the premiere of MLP:FIM! They even got the necromancy and cannibalism right!

Since Kantai Collection, the Touhou fandom is shrinking because lots of otakus are abandoning armpits for ship waifus. Touhou and its porn is still going strong, but for how long?
