Pokemon still holds the lead with 100,579 images. 1,265 new explicit images were added during August.
My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic is in second place with 77,019 images. 1,477 new explicit images were added during August.
Touhou is in third place with 60,840 images. 757 new explicit images were added during August.
DC Comics is in fourth place with 27,262 images. 327 new explicit images were added during August.
Street Fighter is in fifth place with 21,855 images. 294 new explicit images were added during August.
Naruto is in sixth place with 21,607 images. 249 new explicit images were added during August.
Marvel Comics is in seventh place with 21,198 images. 346 new explicit images were added during August.
Sonic Team is in eighth place with 20,490 images. 140 new explicit images were added during August.
Super Mario Bros is in ninth place with 15,679 images. 296 new explicit images were added during August.

MLP beat Pokemon four months in a row!
Now that we've gone over the monthly update for the top ten porn producers, it's time to analyze the latest data regarding Rule 34 images for the mane six.
As of September 10, 2015, here's the state of Rule 34 for the mane six, according to Rule34.paheal.net:
Twilight Sparkle
has 11,294 images. 205 explicit images were added during August.
Rainbow Dash
has 9,053 images. 107 explicit images were added during August.
Fluttershy
has 9,031 images. 153 explicit images were added during August.
Pinkie Pie
has 7,876 images. 118 explicit images were added during August.
Rarity
has 7,504 images. 146 explicit images were added during August.
Applejack
has 7,197 images. 107 explicit images were added during August.
Congratulations to Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash, who both reached the milestone of 9,000 explicit images. Rainbow Dash has only 22 more images than Fluttershy. We may see an upset in rankings next month.

Before we address this month's topic, I have a follow up with Jared Fogle.
The Jared Foundation was a sham: It never gave out a single grant and more than half the money donated went directly into the pockets of the foundation's director and admitted pedophile, Russell Taylor. Tax records reveal that the Jared Foundation hasn't issued a single grant since it was founded in 2008. Meanwhile, the foundation has been consistently spending $73,000 a year. From 2009 until 2013, 60% of the spending was on executive director Russell Taylor's salary.
Court documents indicate that Taylor was the man who hooked Fogle on child porn, first sending him self-made and imported pictures and videos of children as young as six-years-old in 2011. The Jared Foundation also hasn't paid it's $5 annual registration fee with the State of Indiana since 2008, and the Indiana Secretary of State officially dissolved the foundation in 2012, though it was still recognized by the IRS.
Recently, Fogle agreed to plead guilty to having sex with minors and obtaining child pornography and is currently under house arrest until his sentencing is finalized. He faces five to more than 12 years in prison on the charges. In the meantime, Fogle has been ordered to stay away from all children besides his own and has been banned from computer usage or owning any pornography.
Fogle's second wife Katie, the mother of his two preschool-aged children, has also filed for divorce. Katie Fogle started divorce proceedings on Wednesday, the same day that he was charged with child pornography and sex with minors, suggesting that she may have been in the dark about his secret double life. The two have been married for five years.
Between 2010 and 2013, the 37-year-old millionaire Subway spokesman repeatedly traveled from Indiana to New York to have sex with underage prostitutes. According to court documents, on one occasion in the fall of 2012, Fogle hired a 17-year-old girl for sex and brought her to the Plaza Hotel where he was staying as a guest. Rooms at the iconic hotel start at more than $430 per night. The following day, he texted the teenage escort offering to pay her a finder’s fee if she could procure for him an underage girl for sex, saying, 'the younger, the better.' Fogle continued to persist with his requests, telling the 17-year-old that 'he would really make it worth her while' if she could find him a young teen for sex. To cover up his illicit activities, the married father of two made sure his getaways to New York for sex coincided with legitimate business trips. In light of these developments, the fact that Subway once encouraged kids to play "Jared's Pants Dance" game is horribly ironic in hindsight.
It's unfortunate when a celebrity endorsement comes back to bite you.
Subway should see if Clay Henry wants to be their new Spokesman.
In 2015, Henry is a loan officer and mortgage planning specialist, according to his website. The only trace of his Subway past appears on his LinkedIn profile, where he's listed as a “national spokesperson” from 2001 to 2004. Of course, if they brought Henry back, they'd have to change his song. You don't want to go around telling people that you're a fan of Jared from Subway these days.
Well, enough discussion of pedophiles. Let's talk about something more wholesome. Pokemon!
So, what exactly is a Pokemon?
Pokémon is more than a successful game, it’s a successful media franchise. Pokemon Red / Blue is the bestselling RPG game of all time and Pokemon as a whole is the bestselling RPG series of all time. With that being said, the games are only a part of the reason that the franchise has endured for nearly 20 years.
The Pokemon anime has engaging characters with relatable motivations. Everyone is striving to improve themselves. We all "want to be the very best, like no one ever was." The quest from adolescence to maturity while honing one's talents and abilities is an integral theme for the series. Whether it's Ash's quest to become a Pokemon master, Brock's mission to become the best Pokemon breeder or May's attempts to become a world-class coordinator, the characters embody our respective desires for success. In our lives, we’ve all known someone with personalities similar to Ash, Misty, Brock, Dawn or any of the other characters from the series. Their relatability helps us to further immerse ourselves into the world of Pokemon.
What does the future hold for Pokemon? Well, there's a fighting game on the horizon...
Pokemon Go promises to be a fun experience for those who need an excuse to explore the world around them.
Which isn't to say that Pokemon is all sweetness and light. Just like anything else, the series has a seedy underbelly.
Thanks to a company named Wood Rocket, the Pokemon franchise finally has its very own live-action porn parody, known as Strokémon.
There are currently more than 700 different Pokemon and each one has porn drawn of it, with some characters garnering thousands of explicit images. Whenever a new Pokemon is revealed for an upcoming game, pornographers race to be the first to create smut. Pokemon Gold, Silver and Crystal introduced the mechanic of Pokémon breeding and genders, which makes all of the Pokémon-on-Pokémon Rule 34 ever conceived technically canon. (In a similar sense to how Pound Cake and Pumpkin Cake make all the MLP Rule 34 canon.) In Pokemon, any male can mate with any female, which led to the infamous "hot Skitty on Wailord action" meme.
And you know what they say, "If it exists... there's a MLP version of it."
Even more disturbing than all the interspecial rule 34 is the explicit imagery of Ash, Misty and all the other underage characters. While I'm not about to grant human rights to cartoon characters, it is telling that half of the top ten rule 34-producing Pokemon characters are human.

There are currently more than 100,000 explicit images on Derpibooru. It's worth noting that site allows porn of OCs, which means that roughly 24,000 of the explicit images on Derpibooru involve OCs. Nearly 7,000 of the explicit images on Derpibooru contain humanized characters. Contrast that with Pokemon, which has more than double the amount of humanized porn, and that's only counting the explicit imagery generated by the humans amongst the top ten Pokemon porn producers. If we include the porn of other characters like Brock, Officer Jenny and Nurse Joy, the numbers increase even further. Pokemon is popular, but humans from the series appear to be among the most compelling targets for pornographers.
There's a desire to have an emotional connection to a character. The art of porn is more than taking something from pop culture and drawing genitalia on it. True erotica is created by having an intimate knowledge of the subject matter and incorporating those ideas into the imagery. Pokemon contains a deep well of complex characters from which to draw. The humans, with their dreams and aspirations, gives the audience something genuine to connect with. In contrast, it can be difficult to relate to creatures whose vocabulary solely consists of saying their own name.
At its core, that's why My Little Pony is so popular. The personalities of the mane six have been developed and explored much more than the one-note, cardboard cutouts of characters which are popular in other children's media. While compelling characters aren't the sole reason to explain the popularity of My Little Pony, it's safe to say the fanbase wouldn't exist as it does without likable main characters.
I want to thank everyone for sticking with me and reading to the end of another Rule 34 update. As my real world obligations increase, my free time becomes even more fleeting. It seems with each passing month I sacrifice more and produce less. I look back at the lengthy and thoroughly researched updates of previous years and can't help but feel overshadowed by my previous achievements.
