Nothing's updating and that Sucks

So as I've been typing up the second chapter to Fly Buddies, while occasionally going back to edit the first one, I've been hitting a snag in writing. Because I didn't PLAN IT OUT!!

Anyway to pass the time between lapses of writers block for this story I tend to read a lot of fanfiction off the site if my favorites list has anything to say about it. Lately I'm down to two stories that I favorited but haven't read yet.
Now I could read Pagliacci, the sequel to the amazing but INCREDIBLY DARK Eyes Without a Face, by the criminally underrated writer Theycallmejub; but I'm honestly more in the mood for stories to update. But nothing has been happening and if you frequent this site as much as I do, it can definitely get annoying.

So here are some stories that either update too little or not at all

Exit Through Canterlot by TheBrianJ
This is a story about expressing your emotions in a rather creative way, with the story of Octavia becoming Banksy.

I love TheBrianJ. He is my all time favorite writer on the site, next to Cold In Gardez. All his stories (par 1) are fun to read, and yet has this great tone that keeps me coming back to them, with this one being my favorite of his. This one actually does update, but its one of those stories that you feel doesn't update enough. I had to put one of those on this list.

Cadence in a Minor by Issues
Shining Armor is impotent. But there's more to it than that. Its a really good story about overcoming your own issues for the sake of love while also being an interesting character study of both Shining and Cadence and how they both have deeper issues than first realized.
*NOTE: Even if you haven't read this story, click the like button. Because if the story gets 1,000 likes; Issue's co-editor and friend Chuckfinley will buy him a beer. Its at 910 as I type this and dammit we can do better.

I actually discovered this story a short time before it last updated. I was surprised by the deeper emotional and psychological conflicts it had. It seemed to present itself as a romantic comedy, but I didn't really laugh a whole lot. Not to say it isn't funny at times, its just more dramatic than it is funny. It's another one of those stories where at first glance I wouldn't have given it a chance, but I'm glad I did.

The Ballad of Eeyup and Nope by ambion
Applejack bets Big Mac a week of chores to not say "Eeyup" and "Nope" for 3 days. And he suffers a lot. And we laugh at his misery because we're such good people.

Princess Sparkle's School for Eccentric Unicorns by ColtClassic
Princess Twilight starts a magic school for unicorns and only 4 make the cut; Trixie, Fleur De Lis, Vinyl Scratch, and Lyra. It also has a romantic plot with Lyra having a crush on Twilight

I just discovered this a month ago. Its a clever idea and I really wish it continues.

To Make Old Friends
An AU story where Fluttershy is best friends with Cloud Kicker, and she starts to have very vivid dreams of the canon universe. She goes to find the strange ponies in her dreams and trying to understand what the dreams mean.

Up in the Clouds, Down to Earth by SleeplessBrony
Fluttershy has a crush on Big Macintosh

This is hands down the most engaging Fluttermac story I have ever read. I have never seen Fluttershy so pathetic before. The way she struggles with her insecurities is so interesting, but so tough to read. Big Mac is even really interesting as well, and Rarity is as complex as she is in the show. And its told in that classic SleeplessBrony style with inner monologue, short but meaningful sentences and characters overcoming their own impossible odds.

Not All Who Wander are Lost by RavensDagger
Rainbow Dash is dead, and Scootaloo goes on an adventure to find the Fountain of Life as told in her Daring Do story.

I know that sounds kind of odd; but this story is a great Scootaloo adventure and you can't go wrong with that.

Time Waits for No Mare by crimsonwatchtower
Applejack is accidentally sent 300 years in the future by a spell by Twilight. In the future, Earth Ponies are segregated, Twilight is the evil dictator and Applejack has to join a rebel force lead by Firefly to stop the evil Twilicorn

Yeah, you need to read this fucking story. Its one of the best Applejack stories, up there with Contraptionology. Its a dark story with an interesting system of pony races and has moments of violence and intrigue that feel like a Fallout Equestria story

A Mighty Demon Slayer Grooms Some Ponies by G D Davidson
A crossover between G1 of MLP with FiM. It has a lot more emotion that you would expect.

The Abyssal Forge by Ponydora Prancypants
The second story to Prancypant's Adamant Triskelion, and the sequel to Flight of the Alicorn.

Pinkie versus The Spy by Guesswork
Pinkie is dating a spy.

This story needs to finish so he can work on his sequel to Daylight Burning. But this is a good story nonetheless.

Canterlot Follies by LadyMoonDancer
Its Jeeves and Wooster with ponies. Only read if you have seen the show.

This is one of those stories like Time Waits for No Mare or Composure that updates WHENEVER. It seems to capture the humor of the story really well and its one of the best crossover stories I've read.

Canterlot's Disasterous Winter Wrap Up by Storm Clouds
Something went wrong this year's Winter Wrap Up, the snow piled high instead of being clean, and for some reason the snow doesn't react to magic. Now the high class ponies of Canterlot have to clean up the snow BY HAND!!!! OH THE EQUINITY!!!!

Tales of a Dreamer by TheDinkySociety
Dinky goes through her day like an RPG. Its pretty cute, like most stuff with Dinky is.

Composure by Varanus
The story of Twilestia that parallels device heretic's Eternal.

In One Month by CadenceButterfly
Celestia gave the girls tickets to the next GGG. But what's this, she sent an extra ticket for each of them. Now they have to find a... a... DATE! DUH-DUH-DUUUUUUUUUUUUUHHHH!!!!

This is sort of like Eros Dreaming, but instead of it being a crackfic it was an honest shipping story. The enjoyment of this story is about the girls finding dates, who they are, and how they'll come to be with them. So far you can tell who is with who, but the story is taking its time. I find it cute and sweet at some parts even if it's only 8 chapters in and we just met the potential dates.

Flutterspy by Kavonde
Fleur De Lis teaches Fluttershy to be a spy

Fortunately this one is coming back now that Kavonde is done with his Blueblood story. This is a story with such a clever and funny concept that it needs to be read, and it needs to continue.

And finally,
Ponyville University by SleeplessBrony
Humanized sexy times.

At first I thought this story was just a clopfic with the characters humanized, and it was for the first 2 chapters. But then we get to the third chapter, and its honestly my favorite use of Fluttermac ever. The two have a history and an actual relationship based on love and understanding, and the TwiDash shipping is funny even at times it probably wasn't supposed to be. It was the first story that got me hooked on SleeplessBrony and I hope to see it continue.

So that's it. I just wanted to address some stories I like that need to continue or at least be mentioned. And I typed this rather fast, and while watching Spoony destroy Final Fantasy XIII.

So why can't I put out another chapter?
