I have now headcannoned Fancy Pants as the mild-mannered alter ego of Bruce Mane. Not what you intended, but headcannon is headcannon.
I enjoy the plot, and I especially enjoy the character development. Of course, the realist in me is upset about how fast Fluttershy's been trained. My inner troper is screaming back about how it's fine here because it's a dramatic convention, and my super-realist hasn't gotten past the "pastel ponies" part yet. But give him time... I've watched since late season 1, and I expect him to calm down by mid-season 8 or so.
