Now a new threat is approaching but it will not count on the appearance of Spike the brave and glorious, but, he will not be alone, new heroes will arise to ensure the peace of Equestria.
This fic takes place after season 10 in the IDW comics.
"Where I am?" said a voice that was lost in the darkness.
“I want to get out, but I can't,” said the same voice again.
Suddenly, disturbances began to be felt, the only thing he could feel was the impact of some kind of magical laser.
And to repent in a rare rainbow explosion, a lightning strike and finally I could be free.
I did not know what was happening, I was in a large room, there were other beings than me sitting on a chair, those beings were ponies, and in the distance in a corner of the room, there was a filly, it was a purple unicorn with blue hair with a line of 2 shades of pink, and next to it 2 other unicorns.
What surprised me was to see that the filly was performing many magic spells that she surely didn't know how to do, several flashes shot out of her horn, unfortunately, one of those flashes went directly to me.

"Wow, that's great Spike, you now have a direct line of contact with the princess," Twilight Sparkle said cheerfully.
"Thank you so much princess," Spike said as he hugged Celestia, "I'm ready."
The 3 left the room.
Outside the school, Twilight Velvet was waiting for them.
"Mom," little Twilight yelled as she ran to her mother, then hugged her.
"Twilight," her mother said, hugging her as well, then turned her gaze to Spike, "Hey Spike, I'm glad you're here, it's going to be a pleasure having you with us, I've always wanted a third child."

Minutes later, the carriage moved forward and through the window, Spike and Twilight said goodbye to Princess Celestia.
“Very good luck,” the princess said, then looked up at the sky.
Years passed and Spike was already a member of the Sparkle family, he was happy living with them, and as the years passed, Night Light and Twilight Velvet could not be more proud of their children.
A son managed to rise to captain and become the prince of an ancient kingdom.

It was a quiet night in the city of Canterlot, the citizens sleeping peacefully after the defeat of Danu and the Knights of Harmony.

Suddenly in a second, the creature teleported away.

Spike felt something in his chest, he looked down with all the fear in the world and saw that where his heart was now there was a dagger that pierced it and a black liquid gushed out of it.
“AHHHHHHHH,” yelled the little dragon pulling the dagger out of his chest as he used a puddle on the ground to see his wound.
Seeing the black liquid that came out of his heart, he used his claws to cover it, but it was useless, the liquid did not stop.
"Hahahaha, what's wrong with you little one, I thought you would be stronger than this," said the creature.
Spike ignored him as he looked at his reflection in the water, suddenly the black liquid began to fill his eyes, to the point of having them like Twilight's, "NO, NO, NOOOOO."
At that moment, Twilight stood up, still black-eyed, and she spoke, "SPIKE, I'M SORRY."
After saying that, Twilight spit out black liquid from her mouth and she passed out again.
"NOOOOOO, TWILIGHT," Spike yelled as he used his remaining strength to get closer to Twilight, but in that instant...

"That's very kind, Luna," Celestia said, then turned to Spike, "Oh, poor thing, it must have been a horrible nightmare for you to have those dark circles under your eyes, Spike."
Spike looked at himself in the mirror and saw that he had dark circles under his eyes.
"Would you mind telling me what happened in your nightmare?" Luna asked the dragon but then she thought it might be traumatic for him, "Umm, unless you don't want to, I'll understand if that's the case."
"No, it's fine Luna, I'll tell you every detail," Spike replied.
Spike began to tell them every detail of his dream, needless to say that the further he went, the former princesses' faces became more terrified, Spike kept counting until he reached the end, by the time he finished, Celestia looked terrified.
"Oh by Equestria," she went straight to Spike and hugged him as hard as she could, "I'm sorry, I didn't expect..."
"Don't worry, I'm fine," Spike said.
But Luna had gotten the worst of it.
“Umm Luna? Are you OK?" Twilight asked.

It was a beautiful day, the weather was fine and the sky was clear, there, Twilight Sparkle and Spike could be seen flying together towards Ponyville.
"The weather is nice, it's the perfect time to celebrate the festival of the 2 sisters, don't you think Spike?" asked the alicorn.
"Yes, I could not choose a better time," replied the animated dragon.
Twilight smiled seeing her brother happy again, the two of them deserved a break from all the work they had, luckily they had the day off to celebrate what used to be the the Summer Sun Celebration.
They were headed to Sugarcube Corner, where Pinkie Pie was throwing a party, like always, but they still knew it was going to be a great party.
"You know, a little bird told me that Pinkie made you a special cupcake with gems," Twilight said cheerfully.
"Wow, in that case, let's speed up, I can taste that cupcake now," Spike said as he revved up his wings, moving them much faster.
"Make it a race, first to Ponyville wins," Twilight challenged.
Spike responded determinedly, "It is on."

Spike nodded with a blush, flattered that he was recognized by a non-crystal pony.
“Wow, you're a legend, it's an honor,” the foal said as he knelt before Spike.
"Umm, you shouldn't do that," Spike said a little sheepishly, "Could you tell me your name?"
"My name is Button Mash."
"Button Mash," said Twilight who approached the 3 children, seeing Twilight, Rumble and Button Mash knelt before her, after all, she was the new ruler of Equestria, "I know you, Miss Cherilee has talked a lot about you, an expert student in mathematics.”
“Hehe,” Button sighed, “Thanks, I…..”

"Wow," was all Spike could say upon hearing the story.
“Dude, you really had problems,” Button Mash added.
Twilight quickly chimed in, "Hey don't worry Rumble, we've all made mistakes, I also have a friend who hated cutie marks for a long time and she learned her lesson too."
Rumble smiled upon hearing the princess.
"Well Spike, we have to go to Sugarcube Corner, we don't have to be late," said Twilight but then an idea occurred to her, she turned to Rumble and Button Mash and spoke to them, "why don't you join us, the Crusaders will be there also."
Spike smiled.
Button was flattered, "I would be honored to join you, princess."
"No, just call me Twilight," she told them sweetly.
Rumble also accompanied them smiling.
On the way, Spike was chatting with Button and Rumble, "Yes, that's Twilight, she's very nice."
"She's so cute, my mom always tells me to make friends, I didn't think this was possible," Button said and then stopped, he looked at Spike and Rumble, "Umm, we're friends right?"
Rumble replied, "Sure, why we wouldn't be."
“Even though our first meeting was a bit violent, I think i like you guys,” Spike added as the three of them laughed.
Twilight looked at them, it felt good that Spike made friends, of course, he already had his O&O group and his friends from other realms, but this was the first time he made friends his age.
And so, the 4 headed to Sugarcube Corner to celebrate.
Meanwhile, Luna and Celestia were also heading to Ponyville.

The crusaders were sitting at another table, though they wondered what Rumble and Button Mash were doing there.
"Well, Rumble change, so I don't think there will be any problem, remember what our sisters taught us, always give a second chance," Scootaloo said to which the crusaders nodded.
Everything seemed fine, the party was going great, but that calm was interrupted with the appearance of the ex princesses.
"TWILIGHT, SPIKE," Luna burst in breaking down the door to Sugarcube Corner.
“Sorry, we'll fix it later, but this is a matter of the utmost importance,” Celestia said, entering Sugarcube Corner.
Celestia and Luna entered and greeted the Mane 6, Celestia speaking first, "My little ponies, it's nice to see you again."
"I only wish it hadn't been at a time of extreme danger," Luna added.
“Extreme danger?” the Mane 6 asked in surprise at the same time.
"Actually, it has to do with the nightmare Spike had," Luna said, then she called to Spike, "You might want to see this Spike, it concerns you too."
Nervous Spike approached, he was accompanied by Rumble and Button, the crusaders also approached.
Luna already knew the crusaders, so she didn't mind that they knew too, but she didn't recognize the 2 colts that were next to Spike.
"Oh and who are you?" Celestia asked them with a smile.
"Umm, friends of Spike, I don't think we should meddle though," Button Mash replied nervously in the presence of the former princesses.

"When Celestia and I fought," Luna paused, still apologetic about the whole Nightmare Moon thing, "the elements of the harmony were used against their own wielder back then."
“That brought horrible consequences, in addition to Luna's banishment,” Celestia told them.
“Apparently, using items like that, was considered a….” Luna paused again, "Sin, a sin."
“From that day on, the elements were unlinked from us, but other kinds of elements were created,” Celestia said.
“It was also partly thanks to me, I was so angry, that even without knowing it, I forged the element of rage,” Luna said.
Everyone present shuddered upon hearing of an unknown element.
“But since I was banished, the element has been dormant ever since,” Luna said calming everyone down.

“The moment you activate one of those elements, the remaining 5 will be revealed,” Celestia said.
The Mane 6 were more surprised by how those elements worked.

"Yes, because activating the first 5 elements would activate the magic element," Fluttershy said.
“But in this case, you only need to activate one element to activate them all,” Twilight said.
"And that's why I was worried about your dream, Spike," Luna said.

It was a corrupted Changeling, but unlike the others, this one had green eyes.
"Green eyes," Spike and Twi said at the same time.
"Spike, what's up?" Rumble and Button Mash asked him at the same time.
"That guy, I think I've seen him before..." Spike paused, "In my nightmares."
The Changeling realized that they were watching him and he descended on them with an evil look.
AJ, Rarity, Rainbow and Twilight stood in front of their respective younger siblings to protect them.
While Pinkie and Fluttershy did the same to protect Rumble and Button Mash.
"Who are you?" Luna asked.
The Changeling smiled and replied, "My name is Spyral."
He continued and revealed something that would shock everyone present.
Everyone was shocked at such a revelation of the Changeling called Spyral.
“Hold my horses,” AJ said, “what do you mean by being the true son of Queen Chrysalis?”
Spyral began to tell them his story, "It all started after our first failed attempt to conquer Canterlot, the day Princess Cadence and Prince Shining Armor's love ruined everything."
"Don't play the victim, many ponies would have been hurt if the queen conquered Canterlot," Rainbow Dash replied.
“I don't give a damn if the ponies suffer,” Spyral replied as he continued his story.
"From that day on, my mother the Queen of Chrysalis would try to find a power that was not corrupted by love, but more importantly, that was not corrupted by harmony."
“And you, are you that power?” Twilight Sparkle asked a little fearful of Spyral's response.
“Heh,” Spyral laughed, “it could be said that if, after her first defeat, my mother, the queen, did an experiment on one of the changeling eggs, a spell, and thus I was born, a changeling who does not need love to survive, but without having to succumb to a ridiculous transformation.”
"Chrysalis experimented on an unborn child, that's cruel, even for someone like her," Rarity said.

"But if you were an egg back then, why are you the size of an adult changeling?" Celestia asked.
"The spell my mother gave me had a side effect, it gave me a growth spurt, which helped me accomplish the mission, when the other changelings betrayed mom and she had to run away, I was willing to act, but she told me that my power was not strong enough to defeat them.”
Everyone present felt 2 things, pity and disgust, Spyral was just a puppet of the defeated queen Chrysalis.
"In any case, she had knowledge that only Discord and the Princesses had and passed it on to me," Spyral said as he showed them 6 gems, everyone was surprised to note that they were the gems that appeared in the book that Luna had.
There, everyone knew what those gems were.
“The elements of sin,” Spike yelled.
"She knew about the elements," Luna thought terrified.
"That's right, scaly," Spyral replied with a sinister smile, "That was my mission, to set out on a journey in search of the elements and having them, my mother and I would rule this pathetic kingdom."
"This guy is crazy, he must have drunk a lot of swamp water," Button Mash whispered to which Spike and Rumble nodded.
But unfortunately Spyral heard them, "WHO SAID THAT?"
"He said it," a startled Button Mash pointed out to Rumble.
"Seriously?" I ask Button Mash sarcastically.
Spyral continued with his story, "I discovered the location of 6 elements and when I discovered that the last one, the element of greed, was buried in Ponyville, I decided to return from my trip and tell my mother the good news."
The girls and Spike knew that what followed in the story was not going to be pretty.
“But when I came back, I didn't hear my mother's voice welcoming me, I met her, but now she was a statue along with a filly and a centaur, I investigated, and you were responsible,” Spyral said pointing to the former princesses.
“We're sorry you feel that way,” Celestia told her.
"But that was what Chrysalis chose," Luna added.
"That's right, Chrysalis had many opportunities to redeem herself, but she chose to follow the sad path she set, everything that happened to her, she could have prevented," Twilight Sparkle finished.
"SHUT UP," Spyral yelled, "I don't care what you say, I'm going to take my revenge, I'll rule Equestria like my mother would have, that's why I've been planning this day for weeks."
“Well, your plan went wrong,” Rumble told him.
"What?" Spyral asked.
“Yes, even with the elements of sin, we are 14 and you are only one,” replied Button Mash.

“A petrifying orb.”
“That's right, the same ones the storm king used, now I suggest you give up if you don't want to be stone,” Spyral told them as he pointed the orb at them.
"You don't scare us," Rainbow Dash told him.
"Yeah, and that trick it's not original at all, you just using things from the movie," Pinkie added.
“And we won't fall into the same trap twice,” Celestia said.
But Luna noticed something strange with the orb, "Sister, this one looks a little different from last time."
"Don't worry princess, I mean Luna," Twilight Sparkle said confidently, I have a spell capable of countering those orbs, he's just bluffing.
"Bluffing huh?" Spyral said, and then tossed the orb at them, "SO BLUFF THIS."
“WATCH OUT,” Luna yelled as she dodged the orb accidentally knocking Spike, Rumble, and Button Mash.
BOOM.
The orb exploded, but at that moment it was revealed that it hadn't hit anyone other than a huge sphere-shaped magical shield conjured by Twilight which covered her friends, the CMCs, and Celestia.
Twilight smiled seeing that none of her friends were petrified, "It worked."
Spyral sneered at her, "You're a fool."
"Huh?" Twilight wondered because Spyral was laughing, but later she realized that her shield didn't fade, "Oh no."
"Twi, what happened?" asked AJ.
“The orb doesn't petrify living beings, it petrifies spells, you won't be able to get rid of that shield for a while,” Spyral explained.
“That can't be good,” Scootaloo said.
"Which means..." Apple Bloom said.
"That we're stuck here," Sweetie Belle finished.
The only ones not on the shield were Luna and the boys, "This certainly complicates the situation."
“Hehehehe,” Spyral laughed.

Luna, Spike, Button Mash and Rumble gulped.
"Well lady and gentlemen, does anyone have one more thing to say before our, um, possible beating," Spike said.
The situation was not going well for Luna and the boys, they were being threatened by Spyral and his 3 clones.
Spike, Button Mash and Rumble began to think about the situation, they saw how the clones were staring at them, and although they didn't say it, they were a little nervous.
"Luna," Spike whispered into the former princess of the night's ear.
"What's up Spike?" Luna spoke quietly so Spyral wouldn't hear them.
"Do you think you can fight Spyral alone?" asked the Dragon.

Rumble flew straight at Spyral but then pushed the clone that had wings up.
“Ahhh,” the winged clone yelled as he was propelled upwards.
"WHAT THE?..." Spyral wondered when he heard the cry of the clone with the horn.
“GYAHHHHH.”
Spyral turned to see the clone engulfed in green flames which were the product of Spike's magical breath.
"Hey fool, if that bothers you then catch me," Spike said as he fled into the Everfree Forest, causing the horned clone to go after him.
"SPIKE, NOOOOO," Twilight yelled, still trapped inside her magic bubble.
“Do you think that plan will work, we are clones, but we are not that stupid,” said the clone who lacked horn and wings.
BAM.
“OUCH,” the clone groaned in pain as he was hit with a rock which Button Mash threw.
“Grrgg, you,” the clone said angrily and headed straight for Button.
“AHHH, I'M SORRY,” Button Mash yelled and instantly he ran off towards Ponyville.
“COME BACK HERE,” the clone yelled as he went after him.
The Mane 6, the Crusaders, Celestia and Luna had been left open-mouthed at such a spectacle.
“Wow, that worked,” Luna said.
Spyral realized that his clones had been tricked, but he didn't think the boys could beat them.
“Grrrr, now you made me mad,” Spyral said as he used his horn to conjure up a green sword, “I'm going to finish you off and when I do, I'll take care of those brats, I just hope my clones don't do all the work for me he he."
Luna frowned, but Twi was the one who got the worst of it.

"Well, then we can do something," Sweetie Belle said, taking out a bottle of ink.
Twi smiled knowing what the Crusaders were planning.
“Lulu, be careful,” Celestia told her.
"Don't worry Celestia," Luna said as she conjured a blue and black sword, "The only one who will have to watch out is him."
"Are you making fun of me?" Spyral asked and at that moment, the element of anger kicked in, "THAT MAKES ME ANGRY."
“Bring it on,” Luna said.
As the clone with the horn chased after Spike, the latter stopped at a river.
“I caught you,” the clone said.
Spike just gave him a stern look, "Rather, you fell for the trap."

In the forest sky, Rumble had flown high enough to be in the clouds.
“So this is where you took me, you feel brave fighting alone brat,” the winged clone said.
“I am brave, but I am not foolish and now it is time to finish you off,” Rumble told him.
"Big words for such a small pony, who do you think you are?" asked the clone.
Rumble was silent for a few seconds but then he spoke from his heart.

He charged towards the clone and the battle began.

In the river, were Spike and Spyral's clone, the one with a horn, the 2 stared at each other.

Spyral's clone fired a beam from his horn directly at Spike.
“Gyahhh,” Spike yelled as he was hit by the beam that sent him flying.

The clone began to throw many beams at him which Spike dodged with difficulty.
“Don't hit, dodge... Uffff…. It was close,” Spike said as he dodged the beams.

The clone grabbed Spike by his head and forced it into the river, trying to drown him.
"Blllggbgggg," Spike tried to break free, but the clone was too strong.
"Gwahhhh," Spike tried to use his fire but underwater it was useless.
Fear flooded Spike's mind literally and metaphorically, the little dragon began to lose consciousness, with the idea that everything would be over soon.
But at that moment, Spike remembered an event from the past.
"Enough! Or the dragon's wings get plucked!" Chrysalis gloated as she, Tirek and Cozy Glow held Spike in front of Twilight Sparkle and her friends in the battle of Grogar's bell.

"GYAHHHHHHHHHHHH, MY HORN, GAHHHHHHHH," the clone moaned in pain as if he had been stabbed, all he could see at that moment was the baby dragon who was holding his horn in his hand.

"Then I'm sorry, because everything is going to end for you," said the clone who began to flap his wings, "But I have a mission, to conquer Equestria and avenge my mother and I will do whatever it takes to fulfill it."
Rumble also began flapping his wings, and only told him one thing.

“GYAHHH,” he cried out in pain upon receiving it, then the winged clone searched furiously for Rumble but he had disappeared again.
"It can't be, where is it?" the clone asked, "There are no places to hide up here."

"I'M GETTING SICK OF THIS," the clone shouted furiously looking for Rumble, he was going to turn to another place but he saw something that caught his attention.
A cloud.
But it was not just any cloud, because it seemed to move in the inside and had an irregular shape.
The winged Spyral smiled and stood guard against that cloud, "I already got you."

And suddenly, Rumble came out of that cloud ready to attack but he got a big surprise when he saw that Spyral was waiting for him, "Uh oh."

Spyral's clone hit Rumble causing him to lose his balance.
"Gyahhh," Rumble stepped back.
“So you hid inside the clouds and attacked me from there,” the clone told him, “A cowardly strategy.”
Rumble frowned.
"But that trick will no longer gonna be useful for you," the winged clone warned.
“Then I only have one chance left,” Rumble replied as he began flapping his wings again.
"Huh?" the Spyral clone wondered when he saw Rumble flying towards him but dodging.
At that moment Rumble began to spin around the Changeling, he was spinning at a devilish speed.
"And what are you doing now?" asked the clone who was ignored, "It's useless, even if you want to hit me, you can't…."
But at that moment something happened.
"What's happening to me?" the clone lost energy while the colt continued to spin around him, each time the circle formed became smaller.

Rumble was flying through the area and realized that the clone had been defeated.
He looked at the sky with a smile, since he had won his battle, it was clear that Equestria would have a great Wonderbolt in the future.
In the town of Ponyville, which had been evacuated due to Spyral's attack, was Button Mash who was fleeing for his life, a few meters behind him was Spyral's clone who lacked wings and a horn.
“Come back here,” the clone yelled as he gave chase.

"And Spike, you were too brave to face a magic user, even with your nightmares, you managed to master your fear and fight to protect those you care about, you really deserve to be called "The Brave and Glorious" by the ponies."

“They are the real heroes here,” Button Mash said as tears welled up in his eyes.
But at that moment, from his cap, a cartridge fell, Button noticed and picked it up, on the cartridge he had drawn an image of an earth pony which was dressed as a plumber, “Oh, I think I saved some video games in my Cap."
Button saw the cartridges that he had saved, there were 3, in another there was a drawing of a unicorn dressed in green clothes which used a sword and a shield, and the last one had a drawing of a pegasi in armor with a kind of cannon in his hoof.
"All of them, they have been heroes, they always face a threat greater than themselves, to save those they care about, a princess, a kingdom and even a galaxy," Button Mash said, listening to the Spyral clone walk away, "And me, if I run away now, it means I haven't learned anything they taught me, maybe they were just sprites on a screen, but the time I spent on playing with them and learning was real."
“I will fight, I will fight,” Button Mash said with determination, and then he came out of hiding, looked at the house he was in and began to formulate a plan.

The clone turned around and saw Button Mash inside one of the empty houses.
“How silly,” the clone said as he lunged straight at Button Mash.

“Aghhh,” the clone groaned as he was hit by a rock, when he recovered he saw that Button had a slingshot with him.
“Take this,” Button started shooting small rocks at him that he found lying around.
“Gyahh,” the clone started to dodge the rocks the colt threw at him.
"I accept that I'm not that strong," Button said, "But my video game heroes have taught me that I don't need to be stronger, just smarter."
“Well, it doesn't sound like you'd be any smarter if you just used rocks to attack me,” the clone said.
BAMM.
Button threw another rock as the clone spoke.
“AHHHHHH,” the clone yelled.
"Did you say something?" Button Mash asked him comically.
"I'M SICK OF YOU BRAT," the clone entered the house.
“AHHH,” Button yelled as he ran off at the same time trying to shoot him with his slingshot.
“HAAAA,” Button yelled as he threw a rock at him, which missed.
“You won't be able to run away,” the clone told him as he chased him through the house.
Button Mash kept throwing rocks at him with his slingshot which missed.
"Damn," Button said as he was backed into a corner, unfortunately for him, Spyral's clone had entered the room.
"You can no longer hide," the clone approached slowly, "Before you are eliminated, say your last words."
"My last words are…" Button Mash said fearfully, but then smiled, "GAME OVER, BUT NOT FOR ME."

"What does this mean?" the clone asked angrily.

Rumble continued his fight in the sky against the clone of Spyral which had wings, but Rumble was running out and had to lean on a cloud.
"It's not so easy to do all those maneuvers," the clone scoffed, "especially when you have very small wings."
Rumble frowned at the helplessness he felt, he had the clone in front of him and he couldn't do anything.
"You were a worthy opponent, now die with honor," the clone said as he charged at Rumble.

“Gibson,” Button Mash said, recognizing the pony.
Gibson smiled, "What a crazy adventure you have little bro, how about you let Player 2 join in now."
Button Mash smiled.
Back with Rumble.
From among the clouds, a stallion appeared which was a pegasus with black fur and a white grayish mane with a very cool hairstyle, "If you fought in such a dirty way and against a foal, then you will have no problem facing me."
Rumble recognized the pony, "Thunderlane."

Spyral's gaze darted with concern, seeing the Element of Greed move away from him and towards Spike, "NO, IT'S NOT POSSIBLE."

And again, another miracle occurred.
2 elements of sin had moved away from Spyral, which approached Rumble and Button respectively.

“Sorry,” Button Mash apologized.
“Now they have 4 elements, while Spyral only has 3,” Twilight said.

Spyral had turned to stone, just like Chrysalis, Tirek, and Cozy Glow.

Spike, Rumble and Button lowered their heads, they knew that Spyral was evil so they couldn't say anything good about him.
And in that moment, the force field that was holding the Mane 6, Celestia, and the Crusaders prisoner had vanished, freeing them from that magical prison.

“That was awesome,” Rainbow Dash said.
"Who knew they could team up to do something like that super attack," Applejack added.
"This time they were the heroes," Rarity said.

Spike felt like he had ruined everything, Twi had warned him that his relationship with Celestia had to be kept a secret for various reasons, but Spike's nerves dissipated when Celestia placed her hoof on his shoulder.

There was a crowd of ponies that had gathered in the place, all of them wearing elegant suits, the Mane 5 and the Crusaders stood out from the crowd, as well as Twilight Velvet and Night Light, Spike's parents, Shining Armor was also there.
