Twilight Sparkle and her friends have defeated Danu and the rest of the knights of harmony, with that, peace returned to Equestria after uniting the other kingdoms, they have always been the heroines who have saved Equestria many times, but this time, the hero will be someone else
She has a little brother, his name is Spike and although he is also considered a hero, he is not as big as the mane 6, but that will change.
Now a new threat is approaching but it will not count on the appearance of Spike the brave and glorious, but, he will not be alone, new heroes will arise to ensure the peace of Equestria.
This fic takes place after season 10 in the IDW comics.

I’m a fan of fics that look at events from a different point of view, so this first chapter has that going for it. I would have liked to see more of Spike’s reactions to his hatching, particularly his thoughts and feelings. It was odd that he could understand everything that was said, as newborns don’t typically have any language skills. Without much of a reaction from him, that dialogue section felt a little bit like filler to me.
Also, you have a lot of run-on sentences, which makes the narrative difficult to follow. That may have been a stylistic choice, but if so, I’m not sure it’s paying off.
Overall, I think you have a decent start, and going deeper into Spike’s head will probably make it stronger. Good luck!
