Many stories have been told of monsters hiding underground; great beasts that lurk deep below and prey on any ponies that are foolish enough to enter their lairs.

Sometimes, however, there is something far more sinister than any beast. Sometimes, the monsters are hiding in plain sight, and you just can't see them because the lighting isn't just right. Sometimes, things that are seen as safe and approached as if they were safe turn out to be the greatest monsters of all.

After a week-long visit to Course, Rainbow and Rarity are cast into the sea as their ship sinks, destroyed by a kraken. Unable to fly or use magic, they wash up on an island so small that it's practically uninhabitable, a mere blip on the radar. Reasoning that another ship will sail by at some point, or if not, that their injuries will heal eventually, they settle in for the long haul, knowing that they'll just have to wait it out.

Everything comes back to how they present themselves, however, and in a bout of trying to determine which one of them is in charge, the question is asked; Between loyalty and generosity, which one is more likely to elevate the other?

When Discord visits the Canterlot Markets to browse the newest wares, he comes on Filthy's newest acquisition: a consignment shop. It's not doing particularly well in its current environment, so he spices it up with a bit of his own work to increase sales.

However, when his antics draw the attention of Filthy and his newest investor, he's tossed out into the street. Not willing to take this lying down, he vows revenge, becoming the very thing they see him as.

Twilight Sparkle, Fluttershy, Akaitora and Nikolas continue to make their way across Equestria in search of the components that will save Nik's life, and all of Equestria in the process. From an active volcano to the bottom of a lake, they'll have to deal with all the challenges of cutting across the country in a stolen prison transport vehicle while being chased by an army of soldiers that are trying to kill them.

All the while, large chunks of Equestria are disappearing as the world rips itself apart. All hope now rests with a human, a convicted terrorist, the mare he loves, and a scholar.

Part two of three.

While six-year-old Venator is playing with his three-year-old adopted brother, Perditor, in the field behind their parents' house, a group of ruffians grab the pair and spirit them away. Now they have to break away from their foal-nappers and find a way back home. But how are they supposed to do that when they don't even know where they are?

Nikolas, a human from the magical land of Kansas, is about to be killed by an assassin. At the last moment, a mysterious force pulls him out of harm's way... and into Equestria. Just as he starts to relax, however, he finds that Equestria has its own team of assassins, and they're under the same orders to kill him!

Armed only with the knowledge of how his own world works and accompanied by his newest friends, Nikolas must brave the perils of being hunted down, or end up as Equestria's first dead human.

Nick is your average, every-day High-School Brony. One day, as he was walking to lunch, he was pulled magically into the magically amazing world of Equestria. Now, thanks to Fluttershy, he's trapped there, and needs to go home. Can he find his way back, or will he fall prey to his desire to stay in Equestria?

They all laughed at him. A unicorn, flying!? Oh, how ridiculous! But now he had proven them wrong. He had created wings that were more than temporary! But will this newfound excellence last? We shall see.
