Sleep is immaterial. This had to be read at once. Mere icons and reaction pics would fail utterly in conveying just how much I enjoyed this piece. I'd call for
MOAR, but this stands wonderfully on its own. Everypony is spot-on as far as I can tell, and the inclusion of temporal shenanigans as bookends was an amazing touch.
Silly concept of why Discord needs a little fun? Maybe, but I just read through without questioning it even once...and that's how you know the story has you properly enthralled.

Badgerpony: I considered adding more, but I believe there's only so many ways to describe Tab A into Slot B and I couldn't see Discord whirling Rarity through a horde of positions once he had her wrapped up. At some point, it's all just bliss from her POV.

I would love to see more of this at some point in the future, and if I have to write that "more" myself... So be it.
Fascinating story to say the least. Incredibly enjoyable, the story and the sex being codependant on it being truly great. Were it just sex, I would have found it out of character and rather self-gratified, but were it just story it would have been completely lacking in some important aspects of the character development.

I felt it was a little dry, too. I'm pretty sure I can blame that on so many months off.
The reason behind the sex felt very contrived, but past that it was alright.
After reading this, I have made an account just so I could make this comment, because I feel you need to hear this. This was my facebook post, copied word for word.
" Okay, now this is a thing that deserves an entire fucking series of books. I want to see this pairing be a thing and see the characters go through trials together and find out more on the backstory and, and, and. This is amazingly written. I want to explore this version of Equestria because reasons. It is a clopfic and I'd like to see that sort of thing happen some more between the three of them, I mean really, this guy writes sex on the level of Laurell K.Hamilton, so it's like experiencing it first hand almost. I then added a link to this story and continued to gush to my friends about how amazing this and you are. At last count the comments in that post are 139 and rising, we're still talking about it. We expect great things from you, sir and or madam. Also, I personally loved how rarity reacted to everything, and that this pairing could get very kinky, and it would still be great even if it didn't.

I felt the reasons for the sex were a bit contrived, but that's usually the way it goes with sex-related plots. Overall, I really liked this! The sex wasn't particularly inventive, but it was their first time together, so that's absolutely understandable, and I imagine they got more creative as time went on. There were a lot of great little tidbits through-out, too many to point out all of them, and the sex that was shown was still really hot.
I also liked the addition of Silver Lining into the mix, for some much needed history about Discord, and that extra tenderness thrown in. My only complaint is not seeing the creativity of those three put to really good use. That's the only thing that really holds it back. Not even during the sex, but in day to day life. It makes me wish you'd write more, either as a sequel or an alternate storyline, that could remain perfectly chaste if necessary. I realize it's hard to come up with that kind of thing, but now that I've thought of it, and since the argument in the beginning for the choice of consorts involved that train of thought (though here it may have become a derailment), I really want to see that idea in action!
Oh, and I'm really happy with how you portrayed Pinkie, btw. I realize her sex life can be interpreted in a number of ways, but my personal favorite is where she sleeps around with many ponies, while seeing absolutely nothing wrong with that. As a major party addict, a fun addict, and an extremely social pony, who genuinely loves to make other ponies smile, I think that fits perfectly into her personality. I only wish there was more of her in the story, but since it was from Rarity's POV, it's understandable that she wouldn't be the focus here.

If I had half a brain these days, I'd be working on some more of it, but I've got an idea pile that's not going down and other fics that aren't being written when they should be. Otherwise, there'd be another look at this trio.
