Well then, I believe it was the concept more than anything. Your spelling is very good, and I did not notice any errors in it (or if I did, I can't remember them), and your grammar was fine. It actually reminded me of my own style as I read it, which pretty much kept my amused interest in the writing throughout the chapter.
But the most memorable part of it all was...
I laughed so hard at that part, it will forever be cannon for me.
and
That was the second piece that got my attention. I love the idea of Celestia finally thinking about Twilight as an equal, a possible love interest, and a friend more than a student. It was all implied in that sentence, and I loved the idea.
What I always seem to dislike about TwiLestia is that the monarch always has that air of dominance and superiority above Twilight, and it is incredibly refreshing to know that for once; it will be Celestia seeking to gain her attention instead of the other way around.
All in all, you have a very good concept in your hands, as well as the skill to make it shine. I look forward to seeing more of this story.

2311884 We cant be sure if he is still alive. We just know that dragons get really old or at least assume that. It could be that he is still alive and living somewhere (the Country of the Dragons) or is a member of a Dragon Tribe that dont life that long. We will not find out till a later chapter maybe.
