before i could get around to reading this, Lost does that reading, which was really good.
i love this story. at first, just because it was a cute lyrabonbon fic, but it took a second time listening for me to realize you also made lyra the pony for human equivalent of a brony and were portraying us through her. very clever, scribbler. very clever indeed

It is less subtext and more "text with a little bit of whiteout sloppily applied over it which is beginning to flake off at the end."
I've loved this story since the first time I read it. It does so much characterization in such a tiny space, it is hard to believe that it is as short as it is.
