I like your characterization of PMD!Darkrai: you capture him perfectly. His interactions with Luna are also quite well-done.
Just a minor nitpick: Palkia was probably trying to fix the distortion a for weeks, not days. But then again, given that we don't know when Space started distorting, I feel that your idea could still work.
(Also, I always love female!Palkia. From my experiences, a female Palkia, and an AU PMD one at that, is actually pretty rare in the stories I've found, which is a shame, since I headcanon Palkia as one.)
All in all, a superb start.
