Shouldn't Giratina have no problem with the Mane Six?
I mean it's legendary and Psuedo-Legendaries(I.E Garchomp,Metagross etc.)
have shown being able to kill humans and ponies VERY easily,let alone a legendary which was considered by some the embodiment of anti-matter, a being able to stand on equal grounds with the embodiments of Time and Space respectively.
Though unless they're "weaker spawn of the All-father" thing,which even then is giving them too much credit ,go read what Pokemon with rock smash could do to human flesh.

For some reason I always disliked the show(yeah sue me) it gets too inconsistent and the pacing is all over the place,nevermind the Bull-meter goes way too high at times.
I mean there is a lot of lore and the Legendaries have mostly a "theme" of being "embodiments" or guardians of certain elements.
Lugia is legendary due to it's power and it was implied to have some role in Ballance of the world.

My idea is that pinkie is near-death, and being attacked by a Hydra. However, just before she's killed, Palkia appears and goes all-out Mama Bear on the poor hydra.

Darkrai can be looking for enjoyment in ponies dreams and unintentionally ruining them, but it meets Luna who nullifies his nightmare ability and comforts the pokemon understanding how it feels when it seems no one likes you.

um, dragon pulse (draconic fire), extremespeed (his...extreme speed), land's wrath (pillar thing), and.....dragon breath (colorful ray)? That's my best guess

I think Zygarde used Dragon Pulse, not Dragonbreath in the colorful ray.. It's gen 6 animation is exactly what the attack in the story describes. The Draconic fire might have been Outrage since it wasn't a beam, it was Zygarde repeatedly slamming Celestia while cloaked in the fire.
