You know I really like this character, not him specifically as him but the actual mythology behind him bacuase he's not your common protagonist he's not purely evil or good he's more a shade of grey, now we all hate him because we know he killed RD's parents but at the same time he tries to atone for his sins and do good but at the same time he has to kill others to do the good so he's one of those complicated characters, Like Batman if he just went around Gotham city killing all the criminals rather than arrest them, this guy is truly going to be a piece of work

1906393 yeah thanks, sorry about the whole rushed thing, usually I try to get out the first few chapters just so I don't forget later on, next story I'm going to write down the idea so I don't forget that way it won't be so rushed but then I'll probably end up loosing the note with the story Idea and I'll curse to myself

1908897 Exactly like the punisher, there's only like one or two differences between the two in the fact that Dmitry doesn't want to kill but has to anyway and Dmitry doesn't have a bunch of cool gadgets like Punisher but pretty much exactly like Punisher but with a different backstory

1919816 It is, if you stand far enough back you can kind of see the Iron Giant story line but it's not a rip off, when I started the story I originally planned it to be Fluttershy not Rainbow Dash but I soon changed it for obvious reasons and usually when I make a story I only thing of the beggining and end and everythign else comes to me as it goes so there is refrences to several stories but Iron Giant easily stands out the most

1921414 It's more like... it's hard to explain really, in all my stories I put a little bit of myself into the story. In this story I've put the feel of killing into it, at times I can kill heartlessly but at other times the simple thought of killing makes tears come to my eyes and I can't pull the trigger, as for this story I've kind of made humans like the ruthless killers so he doesn't feel so bad when he kills but then when the killing reminds him of the day he killed Wildhorse and Rose Pedal it makes him feel guilt so he cries. The mind is complicated, and he's not really a vetran warrior becasue he only killed a few times at the end of the war so he could hardly be counted as a vetran

1921414 actually the more I think about this the more I think Rambo, There's the war vetran who cries in the end for killing. Rambo was popular so I guess this, even though it's rough it isn't all that bad
