I enjoyed this, but that's besides the point. Plot-wise, it's awefully rushed, and there is no character development. You could have really built more on Clestia's manipulating horse-breeding skills, I mean, their little talk in the beginning? Luna asked her for advice, Celestia said "buck a guard", and then Luna bucked a guard. Now reading this again that sounds more awesome than I intended it to sound. Anyway, the point is: sexy, but it could have been more sexy with a little more depth. Depth is important.
A lot already pretty much summed it up, but... sexy. Although more rushed in comparison to the "prequel", I think I enjoyed this one more.

I dont think any ruler would bump a recruit to general in a year just because of the sex. Move them to the nearest cushy position near you, yes but not power promote them.
