cutie mark crusaders

Not very proper (noun (geddit))).

A beautiful story:pinkiehappy:

This is a really well-done story, very good job.:scootangel:

That was an awesome story, Great job. I think you captured everything just about perfectly.

Brought a tear to my eye. Very season appropriate. Sweetie Belle, you are future element of generosity. It's your destiny.

This would be an excellent episode idea. Da feels man! Great fix!

 AWWW

Brought a tear to my eye IRL. Very nice read.

All of my feels!

On an unrelated note, will you be posting your other stories from Fanfiction here as well?

I'll be posting Xanterlot University after I give it a good editing job, but I probably won't be posting Conversions. Most of my upcoming fics will be posted both here and on fanfiction though... uh, assuming I figure out how to properly use this website. >_>

And thanks everybody for the lovely comments. :)

Fantastic story right here! I'm a bit late reading it, but I enjoyed it thoroughly. Great job!

This was a very sweet story. Well done. :rainbowkiss:

I came here from the Circle of Friends, Daily Discussion Thread. And I must say that I can see how this has gotten 0 down votes. It is an amazing story. Thank you for making this fic. It hit me right in the feels.

Wonderful story. Wonderful lesson.

I really like the idea of Rarity enacting her element anonymously. I know that some fans think that she's mean and selfish, but I like to believe that it is only because they do not see all the good that she does. She is not someone who will brag about her generosity. Heck, after helping the Sea Serpent, she brushed the act under the rug as if it were a normal everyday thing. :raritywink:

Giving back without want or need for a reward is the best kind of charity. Every little bit counts, be it money or time. Most places and organizations just need time.

And soup kitchens and shelters are open year round. Most people (the media) don't seem to realize that, so go help out.

I absolutely agree with you; I've volunteered at a couple of different food banks/ charities and I've seen firsthand how they're sort of forgotten about after Christmas. People are hungry year-round. It was mid-December when I published this, which is why my author's note was sort of holiday-specific - perhaps I should revise that.

And I'm honoured to have been featured in your "Daily Discussion Thread"! :pinkiehappy:

I don't think it needs changed. My comment was more how my mind was processing the information provided in the story. I really did not even notice the specifics of the note, just that it was a call for people to help out (in one fashion or another). Keeping it that way might help make others think about helping out with one of their preferred causes at others times of the year. I could also see how changing it could do the same.

I had nothing to do with the thread feature, but it is forcing me to read and jump through my already way to long reading list. When I saw this story added to the folders I added it to my list. Seeing it posted and having time before class, I figured I would bump it up to the top.
I was not disappointed.

Added to some groups, because this needs to be read by more people.

Thanks a lot! :pinkiehappy:

Once a year, two weeks before christmas, i knit, and sow gloves, scarves, blankets and other clothing items, for those who are less fotunate

ahem, I have only one thought about this whole thing...THIS NEEDS TO BE AN EPISODE!!

I really enjoyed it, and even though I could see the ending coming from a mile away, seeing the CMC doing something this sweet ust gave me plenty of warm fuzzies to make me ignore it.

DAAWWWWW. Awesome story! The feels, man.

Thank you very much. Not sure where this boost in favourites came from all of a sudden, but I'm not complaining.

Well, this was a sweet little story! It had a lovely moral and was reminiscent of the show itself, something I always like. Overall though nothing really jumped out at me, narrative-wise, content-wise or otherwise.

I think that adding a bit of humor could have done wonders for your story. Nothing that would warrant a "comedy" tag, but some of the same light-hearted humor you see on the show would give the story a hay of alot more character. I'd also have liked to see this set in the winter time; it already has that warm, christmas-y vibe to it, and throwing in some winter-y imagery would only have added to that. Speaking of imagery, I'd suggest throwing a bit more of that into your story as a whole; not just visual imagery, either.

However, there were no consistent errors or anything truly bad about this fic; it's already good, and it simply could have been better (In my oppinion).

Congratulations! You committed 0 of the 7 mortal sins of writing mlp fanfiction! :pinkiehappy:

This comment is brought to you courtesy of my Weekly Watch! This is my third week so I'm still working on the feature, but if you're interested in supporting me (or you just want to read the best of what I've read every week) then go ahead and join my group! I'd appreciate the tartarus out of it! :pinkiehappy:

Thank you very much. ^^ I've been meaning to revise this story for the reasons you listed (especially imagery, which I've gotten considerably better at in the last year). It was set during winter, but I can see how you would have missed that, lol.

3517737 I would highly recomend revisiting this. And I did figure it was set in winter (or at least in autumn), I just think that there was a missed oppertunity for imagery in that regard.

I remember this from Fanfiction.net, glad to see one of my favorite pony stories getting some well earned love:twilightsmile:

Always got time for a nice, fluffy one-shot with Rarity involved.
Very lovely story :twilightsmile::twilightsmile:

Yeah Crusaders!! You awesome for donating food!!:pinkiehappy::twilightsmile::ajsmug::fluttershysad::raritywink::scootangel:

I could have sworn I faved this fic years ago. But I could never find it, it must've either been one of the numerous fics unfaved when the site changed (well one of the times), or I forgot to fav this. Either way I'm fixing that mistake now. I've been searching for it for ages.

Edit:

Wow autocorrect sucks.

Anywho read this fic again. It really is an amazing piece of writing.

Wonderful story! :pinkiehappy:

Nice story! Inspiring and Generosity wonderful things, which acces each of us)

Wouldn't it have been something if their cutie marks appeared right before the very customers their counterparts were serving?

Well this put a smile on my face.
