Based on the classic number from Disney's Fantasia, this is my take on what would happen if Sweetie Belle tampered with a spell far beyond her capabilities. The ensuing chaos forces her to try and stop it before it's too late.

I loved this! The idea that Sweetie Belle sees Rarity in the way that we would see the Great Sorcerer pleased me greatly! And it was cute.
Ha! Wonderful! The scene flowed with the music so nicely! Except after she fell asleep, I got a little ahead of it...ah well. This does fit the song perfectly, with what's happening throughout the story. Very nice indeed!
I'd love to see those typos removed, though.
Oh, and I heard about this from SilentBelle. So I guess I'm part of the flood. (tries to think of something clever related to original scene, and floods, and....ah, whatever)

Only problem is, I think I threw off the timing. Can't tell because I already know what's about to happen, so it matches perfectly in my head.

For what it's worth, I think this is one of my top two stories. It wasn't meant to be, but it certainly outshines my pre Golden Armor stories.

This was fun. I was just watching the Fantasia movies a few days ago, and they're just so amazingly creative. It's too bad that Disney's not probably going to attempt anything similar in a while.
