Overall very good, haven't seen a story guest staring a timber wolf (in a positive light at least). This a good story and while it does say your done with it, I believe that there is potential for more. Your in charge of it though so its your call. The pacing was good, the perfect balance between not fast and not too slow. The detail was even better, I'd wager that if someone who isn't familiar with the timber wolves would have their imagination run wild until the revel. I also wouldn't mind seeing more interactions, like how would the other timber wolves or even the other ponies react to the fact that a young filly's friend is a creature that isn't known for being gentle, but thats just a simple nit-pick since this reminds me of one of my favorite movies.Keep up the good work man, also was anyone else getting this vibe?

I have always wonted a timberwolf story that they are good in but I wonted one where a human gets turned into a timberwolf.

Reminds me of this one fanfic I read where the timberwolves were portrayed as basically big wooden dogs that just wanted to have fun, and the only reason the ponies were scared of them was because they looked dangerous and tended to chase things.
Their inner dialogue was like: "Hello, little pony! Let's have fun! Wait, where are you going?" It didn't even have anything to do with the plot, just a random bit of headcanon the author tossed in along the way. I loved it.

Yup, you used quite a few of the elements that were originally discussed in the story. Only thing's you left out were the filly's mother, chick cockatrice (her getting 'eaten," but also not), the owl with the broken wing, the trap sequence, and the revenge aspect that led to the trap sequence.

I will say you did a great job of transferring the original idea into this. However, you should have given a head's up, since the one that came up with the idea was in the middle of writing it.
