Every pony has a goal. Some are grand. Some are not. Sometimes a pony doesn't even know they want it until it happens. But not many realize that a lifelong dream can spawn from the simple telling of a bedtime story.

Shining Armor knows this all too well. As a B.B.B.F.F., it is his duty to read to his sister every night before bed. And sometimes, a simple story can spawn so much more.

Quick A/N:

I am still on my hiatus. This story has been sitting in my story list just waiting to be published. It's just been waiting for me to click the submit button. I guess it can be used to pass the time until I'm off my hiatus. Shouldn't be too long. Two weeks max.

Reason as to why this hasn't been published here is that this is my entry for the Hearth's Warming Care Package for Kiki. It is also the watered down version since I had to edit it severely so that it was appropriate for the target audience, a 7-8 year old child, as well as keeping it at a relatively short length. I was using my younger brony relatives of the same age group to judge it and see how it is. (Because, well... They have to useful for something!) They liked it, and I hope that Kiki likes it as well.

There is also an "Author's Edition" of this one-shot. It is longer since it has much more detail than the Contest Version. The story is technically complete, but I might upload the Author's Edition of the one-shot if you guys would like to see it.
