It might be an idea to describe the scene a bit more. The style seems a tad rushed. For example: Describing Luna's room in more detail.

Otherwise a brilliant story that I will be favouriting. If you ever want the services of a pre-reader I would be more than happy to lend my aid!

I'm not one to read fanfiction with Celestia because she's an all-powerful alicorn, and maybe the fact that I've got no idea how to write her, but this looks good.

Interesting, but not to my taste. One thing, though. None of the US Military branches uses steel toed boots (anymore), so if those boots Celestia is lacing up are standard issue, that isn't right...

I was not aware they reinstated steel toes. I have been out since '07, so I'll take your word on it. Sorry to bother you.

I just did a little digging, and, apparently, steel toes are still NOT standard issue. Navy personnel are required to wear them when on ships and Air Force personnel are required when on a flight line, but Standard Issue boots (black leather or tan suede) do not come with steel toe caps. There are also some career fields such as mechanics and construction that are also required, but that is due to safety issues. Base Commanders can also require them on all personnel, as they have the right (within reason) to make the written policies more strict.

Once again, standard issue boots are not steel toed.

USAF. I've got my last pair sitting right here. Belleville 790, Size 9, Wide. Tan suede, soft toe. I called my army buddy, and he said that EOD never plays with steel toe, and he got soft toes issued standard. I intend to ask the guys at the gym on coast guard island what they say, but after searching on multiple sights, as well as in the written regulations, I am still only finding people saying steel toe is not standard issue.

I'm not making a huge thing out of it, it's just that I wanted to be helpful and not give bad information.

I read the synopsis and I found the premise interesting enough. The writing was good enough to keep me interested, as well as some thought given it.

Hmm, Since Josh is part of the U.S. Navy, I'm guessing Celestia could either be referring to former president of the United States Ronald Reagan, or the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier the USS Ronald Reagan (CVN-76).

This is a well done, different take on "somepony going to Earth" fanfiction. The mention of Ronald Reagan surely brings up questions, too. It's nicely written, and somewhat interesting.
